1/26/2013 rickAll engines make crank case pressure from running . They are vented in one form or another . Most have a PVC valve off the valve cover . If this becomes plugged the the engine still has to vent pressure somewhere and it picks the easiest point . In your case the dip stick . Check for plugged vent .
