When I put on brakes before coming to a stop my car vibrates until I stop..Char - 2007 Toyota Corolla - Steering & Suspension - 8/4/2012-
8/4/2012 JimmUsually, the vibration when braking is due to warped brake rotors. If the brake rotors are warped, it's typically less expensive to replace the warped rotors - as compared with having them machined.
Remember too that the brake rotors are always replaced in pars - both front rotors at the same time, for example. Also, in addition to the brake rotors, you will also need to replace the front wheel bearings and rotor grease seals - for each wheel. The front wheel bearings are simply pressed into the new rotor - followed by the new seal - prior to the rotor installation.
Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.RockAuto.com or www.autopartswarehouse.com for the replacement parts. For example, they (Rock Auto) list the new front brake rotors for around $15.00 each for your vehicle.

7/28/2012 JimmThe vibration at-speed may be related to; worn / faulty wheel bearings, front wheels out-of-balance, worn / faulty strut bearings, worn strut upper mount, worn / faulty suspension bushings.
The brake-related vibration is usually related to; warped disc brake rotors - especially when applying the brakes. Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.RockAuto.com or www.autopartswarehouse.com for the replacement parts.
For example, they (RockAuto) list the front disc brake rotors from around $29.00 each - for your vehicle.
