Same problem as mine, annoying since its distracting seeing your self in your peripheral vision (not to the sides though but directly heheheheh)

I was not able find the cover only, i bought the entire assembly in a pick and pull yard, it was kind loose when i got it, so i attached a velcro strip :)

Are there other headrests from make and model cars or trucks that I can use?
Just bought a 2011 Subaru and Hate the headrests they are too hard and slanted forward too much. They measure 4and 3 quarter inches outside bar to bar

The only answer i can give you is trial and error for the fit, here is the thing though, will it be ok with you if the headrests color is different from the seat? The sales guy said it's called something like an "active headrest" and is made that way to reduce whiplash in an accident. So far the only solution I have found is to tilt the seat back some.

I read somewhere that you aren't supposed to relax your head on the headrest, it a safety feature not a creature comfort.

Greetings...the driver's side door handle just stopped working properly; it is a mechanical issue; what to do next?
I used the electronic door opener, all doors but driver's opened fine. I noticed that from inside the car, when I use the opener, the inside "lock" switch for that door is just fine. There is a small, white plastic part in the lock assembly that when I use the ...

I suggest that you should take your vehicle to the dealership. I think most of the parts of your vehicle are still under warranty. Ask for your warranty.
      9/6/2011 ronnyg
I actually bought it used, but had you not mentioned it, I would have forgotten to check the warranty I got from the dealer. Thanks!

My parking lights now stay on all the time. Only be shut off pulling fuse.
The front and rear parking lights stay on all the time. Have to pull 20 amp fuse (yellow) to get them off. I was told it was light switch. I replaced that and when reconnected they were still on. Now I am at a loss. The lights on dashboard are also affected.

On top of your steering column there is a switch that only activates your parking lights, flip the switch and the lights will go out. This is a common problem, the switch gets bumped on and drains the battery.

Why do heat & a/c turn off after 30 minutes or so?
After about 30 minutes of steady (i.e. highway) driving, no air comes out of the vents. You can hear air, but nothing comes out of the vents. Happens with both heat and a/c. The mechanic can't duplicate (takes at least 30 minutes) so I haven't been able to fix.

The rear wiper on the car quit. When you turn the swith you can hear a clicking sound, I think from the wiper relay.
The motor is good. Maybe a short in the wiring somewhere?

Has the wiper arm come loose from the motor? I would check that also.

Easy and simple remove the plastic shield and there is two bolts on the bracket take them out unplug the unit and it is then easy to remove, if your wondering to take the light bulb out there is a rubber boot on the bck just pull it off and remove the screw the light bulb should come right out.

    Change cabin air filter
    • Jimm
      7/13/2011 Jimm
Try the 'How-To-Guides' feature this website for specific steps on how to replace the cabin air filter. The filter is usually accessed through the plastic cover near the cowling on the passenger side - just ahead of the windshield. Raise the windshield wiper arms out of the way to access the plastic vent covers. The covers are usually held by screws or plastic push pins - remove these -along with the vent covers. The cabin air filter is usually located below the hood weather strip (black rubber piece) that can be carefully pulled back. The filter housing can be pulled up to access the cabin air filter. Be sure to clean the filter housing before placing the new filter in position. The installation is the reverse of the removal.

What is most likely cause for heated seats to quit working?
At first I thought it was just the right switch that had failed, but the next day neither switch indicated they were working. At about the same time the cigarette lighter failed and the auto dimming mirror failed. Could these be intertwined?
