The problem is likely a defective throttle position sensor or a MAF sensor. Verify these faults using a scan tool. Post them here so we can translate them and give repair recommendations. Check also the condition of your transmission fluid, if it is brown replace it with new filter. Your vehicle is subject for warranty, ask your dealer about your concerns.

I have the same problem with my 2009 Saturn Aura. It is quite scary, actually, because if I am trying to speed up to pass someone, or pull out onto a busy street, and the vehicle hesitates, I wonder if it is going to even accelerate at all sometimes!! Did anyone ever find the answer to this question?? I have looked briefly through the 64TBSs and 1 recall for the vehicle, but do not see anything that would pertain to this. Pleas let me know if you can help!

No you do not have to pull the engine out but you will need to rent an engine support bar that mounts on top of the strut towers and holds the motor from dropping down when you unbolt the various tranny and engine support mounts.

most repair shops have this tool. Maybe you could make a deal to rent it from them for $20. Rental store *might* have one available.

Not necessarily, you could simply remove the transmission instead of the engine.

Looks that you have some refrigerant , but not the full amount that your system needs.

Usually this is an indication of worn / faulty CV joints in the halfshafts (front-engine driveshafts). Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.RockAuto.com or www.autopartswarehouse.com for the replacement parts

ok, there are several links online to fix this. You need a small bolt, 2 washers, 2 lawn and garden hose gaskets and a nut that fits the bolt. Next you will need a drill and a small bit, I don't remember the size. You can figure that out once you open up the shifter console and see the cable and where it connects. The last thing you need is a very steady hand. What happened is there is a soft metal ball at the end of your cable, if slides into a circular fitting that Saturn is fully aware of and all its faults. They will replace the entire thing for around $700.00 you can fix it yourself for under $2.00 yes two dollars. Once you see the connection, you will see how it works but the idea is that you have to drill the little metal ball, a whole threw the middle of it. after drilling it, put the ball back in the plastic fitting and then put the gaskets around it. then the solid large washers that you baught, I also bought lock washers. I'm one of those over do it guys. I then placed the bolt threw and nutted it up. I use a lock nut by the way. Told you I was a over do it kind of guy. look online there are several sites with great pictures. Its an easy job, a beginners level job, if you can hold a drill.

First step, check the front axle (the one that was installed) to see if it is is the same type as the original (OEM equivalent). You may compare the part number and brand / description to those found at the local auto parts stores or on-line. If so, then find a new dealer or repair shop - most aftermarket / replacement axle assemblies will be OEM (original) or equivalent in design and application.
There is the possiblity the seal may just be leaking.
