2002 Saturn. Grinding noise in front that I can't locate. 7/3/2012 HouseCallAuto1. Inspect the harness between the transaxle and the main loom. Open the pigtail and try to stretch the wires.
2. Test the transaxle Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid resistance. Test from terminal E to terminal K. Compare to F to G and then A to B.
3. If the resistance from E to K does not match the other 2, the TCC solenoid is defective.
The wires are prone to breaking inside the insulation.
7/4/2012 ROBthanks for the help but i have some more info first gear shifts smooth second gear shifts hard but if i get on th gas a lot more it seems to shift smoother it also seems to be running extremely high RPMs like it has a low preasure issue but at 70 mph it runs at about 3200 rpms ! heyt how do i check the terminal like u were saying? and which sensor is the Tcc sensor?
and u said th wires r proned to breaking where do i look? and the pig tale u talking about where it plugs in to th computer and how

My daughter has a 97 saturn with a 5 spd manual transmission. 6/26/2012 samcheck the gouger at the dashboard some time when is not on P gouger has to be adjustor.
