    Transmission rebuild
My vehicle quit working in 1st, hard shift in second. Took to Kennedy Transmission for rebuild. It is not responding to the module. Basically, it does nothing after rebuild.

Go back to the rebuild / repair shop for their repair and solution. The repair work should still be under warranty; most shops have a written guarantee / warranty of the work performed. Hopefully, the repair work / rebuild is not already completely paid for to the repair shop.

So, what is the status now? Have they been paid already and they gave you the vehicle back like this? It is still there? Tell the details so I can give my being in the business opinion on what to do.

Toyota recc replacing fluid at 100K miles. The fluid is not the cause of your hesitation or rough running

My car is leaking transmission fluid somewhere above the passenger side cv axle , what could be causing this ?
This started after the car got stuck in mud . The clutch pedal would jump and there was a clicking sound coming from the car..

This transmission uses an external filter that looks just like an engine oil filter. make sure the fuilter is not leaking. You say the leak is above the cv axle. The axle input has a seal that keeps trans fluid from leaking past but this is not *above* the axle it is at the same level as the axle.

Why does my car slip out of gear and shake when I tap slightly on the gas when it is going 35 to 45 mph?
It happens more often when it is going uphill. It does not happen all the times on level roads. Sometimes I can feel the a few clicking of metal but no sound. The car is doing fine when going over 55 mph. The car has 35000 miles. There is no engine light on. The ...

I have never seen this bearing fail in 30 years. maybe you are seeing some in and out play that is normal end play? Is there symptoms like a severe vibration? The bearing number in one supplier I found is CENTRIC Part # 41262001 but my gut feeling says u do not need it unless you have other detail untold.

the bearing must of went from driving through salt water that comes in the road once in a while. Centric part only sells to a business. Do you know a car parts place that will have that bearing that sells to a car owner. thank you

What can cause clutch fluid to come out the bottom of trans
fluid leaks out the bottom of trans and nowhere else

If you are sure it is clutch fluid and not trans fluid or engine oil then the clutch slave cylinder is leaking. If the slave cylinder is inside the bell housing and I believe it is then you will have to remove the transmission to fix. This would also be the time to replace your clutch. Sorry but it will be expensive to fix.

Why won't my new battery hold a charge overnight?
This is the second new battery in 3 months. It will only start with jumper cables not my portable charger. What could be draining the battery so often? The car has 87,000 miles and has not had any serious. problems in the past.

This would indicate a problem with any on these components; clutch release bearing, clutch hydraulic master cylinder, clutch hydraulic slave cylinder.
Most likely, the issue is with the clutch master or slave cylinders - and these are ususally replaced in pairs at the same time.
Check the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse, www.carpartswarehouse.com, or www.rockauto.com for the replacement parts. For example, they (RockAuto) list the clutch master cylinder from around $78.00 and the clutch slave cylinder from around $53.00 for your vehicle.

The clutch release bearing should be readily available. Check the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse, www.carpartswarehouse.com, www.partsgeek.com, or www.rockauto.com for the replacement parts. For example, they (RockAuto) list the clutch release bearing from around $139.00 for your vehicle; Sachs part # SB60118
