When the car is just sitting,it runs perfect,at around 10,000 RPM,but once the car is in gear and move,it rises up to 20,000 or more,(depeding on escalator and the speed),it wont go back normal until I come to a complete stop and wait 5 to 10 second then it goes ...

If you have already replaced the IAC (idle air control) valve and the TPS (throttle position sensor) then the issue is most likely related to a vacuum leak - have you tested for cracked or broken / deteriorated vacuum hoses? I'd check for this condition before replacing the ignition coil pack - as this (coil pack) would not really caause the high idle condition.

It depends some. You might be able to clean the rusted "socket" with a battery terminal cleaner brush and be OK, but some vehicles, not sure about this one, has a circuit board if it is in the rear. You did not say front or rear. So either it is a new turn signal socket OR it is a new tail lamp circuit board. It might just have a socket in the rear also.

How do i remove and replace rear wiper motor

    • Jimm
      1/5/2013 Jimm
First step - remove the rear wiper arm (pries off using flat blade screwdriver and rag to protect the paint finish), and then take the nut off of the post that the arm attaches to.
Next; raise the rear door (lift hatch). Remove the interior handle. Remove the interior trim panel - these usually just pry off carefully from the interior door frame. Sometimes there are a series of screws around the outside edges.
Then, you can get at the bolts that hold the wiper motor onto the tailgate. Be sure to unplug / disconnect the wiper motor electrical connection.
Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse.com or www.rockauto.com for the replacement parts.
They (Rock Auto) list the rear wiper motor for around $78.00 for your vehicle.

Windshield wiper fluid will not dispense even though wiper fluid is full
Occasionally some liquid will dispense - a few drops . can the fluid lines be replaced? how hard is it to replace? everything else looks okay.

First step - clean out the washer nozzles using a straight pin. Next, disconnect and remove the washer hoses to blow compressed air through. Do this step for each length of hose all the way back to the washer fluid reservoir. Total cost thus far = zero, nada. Put everything back together and test the washer system.

How did you check to make sure it has a full charge ? Check and make sure the battery cables are CLEAN and tight . If they are dirty power can't get to or from the battery . That hard black coating on the battery post needs cleaned off too . The post and cables should be nice and shiney .

GM has a little feature whereas when the heater blower motor of the vehicle stops working in low and medium speeds, then it needs to be replaced. Its kind of an early warning type of thing letting you know that its on its way out.

What can it be if alternator keeps going out?
I been through 5 alternators in one year i replace the battery I checked my terminals and there is no contamination what else can I look for

    • Jimm

Be sure the drive belt is aligned, the belt tensioner is in good shape, and make sure the alternator purchased is new - not rebuilt. Stick with the brand name alternators; Remy and AC Delco, for example.

Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse.com or www.rockauto.com for the replacement alternator. For example, they (Rock Auto) list the new AC Delco unit for around $127.00 for your vehicle.
