My take on it is a headlight relay problem, Open the hood and locate the relay panel box. Unfasten the panel box and look on its underside for the relay diagram. You may need to use a screwdriver to open the panel, but in most models, it just pops off. However, don't use too much force, because it's plastic and can break.

Unplug the compressor clutch, see if still blows the fuse? Then, if it still blows the fuse, I think it is in the wiring. If the fuse doesn't blow with the compressor/clutch disconnected, then I suspect the clutch. I haven't looked at your wiring, yet.

I need to add, there is an ac diode on that compressor circuit. If that diode is bad, it will let voltage go straight to ground. Be sure and ckeck or replace that diode.

Its a sensor type. The speed sensor is found on the right side of the transmission, which is the passenger side. The sensor is a plug-type component with an electrical connector sticking out from it.
Unplug the electrical connector from the sensor. Squeeze the sides of the connector and pull straight off. You can now remove the sensor from the transmission. Twist the sensor counterclockwise using a wrench. This will loosen and remove the sensor. Once the sensor is loose enough; pull the sensor from the transmission. Discard the faulty sensor.

Plug in a code reader and see if any fault codes are stored. This step is not optional. Repost with the codes or if there are no codes there state that on the repost. is the check engine light on at all and does the vehicle seem to operate normally? If it has no engine service light on and the transmission seems to be shifting normally then your cause is almost certain to be a bad instrument panel cluster or a bad Body Control Module. Need data to narrow it down between the two. Another way to find out a lot of info quickly is to have a mechanic that has a full function scan tool hook up to the car and drive it. If it registers the mph on the scanner while driving then it is likely to be a bad IPC.

normally when this happens it is down to the switch ( reversing) fitted to gearbox. not a huge job but much easier for a garage to fix unless you can get under easily ( and safely) and have enough DIY mechanics skills for the job.

There is a vacuum controlled flap for switching from outside to recirculate. If the vacuum motor or the hose fails, it will thump or make noise.

Upon reading the question my first impression was a faulty relay (Stuck) but now that you have included the stalk in the mix (Signal Lights) it has led me to believe that the combination switch needs replacing. Of course to be safe, swap out the headlight relay with another one and check if the problem persists.

You should inspect the area around the bulb, if there is a clear panel or trim panel around or blocking access to the bulb, try to pop it free. But some paneling may be held in with plastic clips while other parts may be secured with bolts or screws. Use a socket wrench or a screwdriver to remove parts until you can access the bulb.
