First thing i usually do is hit the horn, if it doesnt work most likely a bad clockspring inside the steering wheel, otherwise youd need to scan the bcm and get a code and diagnose.

Unless you get it scanned we will just be guessing our way through your problem.

The postage stamp picture is just too small. Host the pic somewhere else and provide a link.

Do you mean the key keeps the starter ingaged all the time? if so then you have to change the starter.
If the key doesnot come out of the ignition switch then its the PRINDLE switch on the transmission which is gone bad, as it cannot see wether the shifter is in park or drive. Good luck.

We have a power passenger rear view mirror. What do they mean by manual folding and power folding? The mirror is solid
We need a mirror with wires to accommodate the electric power for adjusting the mirror.

There are side mirrors that fold automatically when the engine is shut off. Its different from the adjusting type (Power and manual) so its another set of wires so make sure you are getting the right one.

You can try to obtain a replacement belt from the dealership, or from any of the on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse.com or www.RockAuto.com. Do not purchase used safety belts - too much risk in an unknown condition.

Why is the sound on my stereo not working?
The fuse was blown for my stereo (standard factory stereo) so it wouldnt come on and when I replaced the fuse the stereo cam back on but now there is no sound. Is there a seperate amp or fuse for the sound b/c it cant be my speakers considering they were working ...

Well, if everything you is in check, the only thing i can think of is you may have blown the amplifier section in the stereo itself.

You'll have to remove the rear seat. The seat back (upright) cushion should be easily removed by hand. The rear seat bottom cushion is usually bolted in - look underneath the seat and in front - you should see the hold down bolts. Remove these and the seat cushion - to access the seat belt.

Hit a deer which caused me to hit a ditch. Wrecked the front cap and radiator but airbags didn't pop. Why?
At least 45 mph, hit at center of hood. Also would like to know what kind of problems to look for if insurance does not total car out. Motor makes a loud popping noise like fan is into it.

I'm not sure anyone will be able to answer that. Was the SRS light or air bag light illuminated prior to the crash? There are fault codes that store in the air bag module. If there was a code stored the bags will not deploy. It will require a scanner capable of reading the air bag codes. Not a DIY tool, but it may help answer your question if you were able to read a stored code in there.

Only had the car 4 days, but did not notice any unusual airbag lights. Insurance will probably total car per advice of bodyshop. Thank you for your response

      1. Locate the Passive Restraint Control Module (PRCM) under the removable console cover under the park brake lever.

      2. Tap test the PRCM.

      3. If the tracks respond, the PRCM is defective.

      4. Check for soda spilled on the module connectors.

What do I do if the tracks don't respond?

The circuit test will get deeper. I will advise you further at that point. Do the test I detailed and update me with results.

One thing you could do is to check every pin in the connector that goes to the PRCM and tell me which has 12 volts. Check them with a 12 volt test lamp.

    Replace headlight switch
I know the airbag needs to come off, is this an easy task? I have replaced multiswitches on Jeeps and Hondas, is this an easy task to do in an afternoon?

Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System .
      2. Remove the upper steering column shroud and the fasteners.
      3. Turn the steering wheel to the 3 o'clock position.
      4. Insert the medium flat blade screwdriver into the triangle hole in the steering column shroud.
      5. Turn the screwdriver to release the spring fastener while lifting on the corner of the bag closest to that fastener.
      6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the next fastener.
      7. Turn the steering wheel to the 9 o'clock position.
      8. Repeat steps 4-6 until all the spring fasteners are released.
      9. Disconnect the wiring.
      10. Remove the inflator module.

Hope this helps, take care though

Why is my ignition switch overhaeting?
the ignition swithc fail so it was replace. but he new ne seems to be overheating. the plug to the switch gets petty hot.mostly on one corner of the plug

Switches do not overheat, if they become hot to the touch there is a grounding problem which would have most likely blown a fuse at some point.
