    Ok hear we go. I was waiting on my Nieace and run my defroster for alwhile,well not my fan does not work on 1 or 2 or 3
    it only works on only 4 or 5 which is not I want as air cond. Plus I;m having alot electrical issues with my car. Please help.

      Blower motor resistors divert power or ground through resistors to control blower motor speed, replace as necessary.

    Why does my flasher lights stay on all the time my blinkers and brake lights or tail lights won't
    I replaced all the bulbs the flasher lights were coming on when I pressed the brake pedal but I still had brake lights and blinkers then last night the flasher lights came on and won't go off I have no signal lights

    Fuel filter location question
    Simple enough , where the heck is the fuel filter located on this beast ?

      My parts book didn't show 07 Montana did show 06. The fuel filter shows to be part of fuel pump module.

      From my search underneath you must be right, drop the tank to change the filter apparently, ugh . Thanks

    Humming noise from rear wheels on all types of road surfaces
    had tires rotated and balanced and 4 wheel alignment.

      Most likely, the noises you are hearing are related to a dry or worn rear hub wheel bearing. Raise the rear wheels off the ground - suspend with jack stands. Then, slowly rotate by hand - each of the rear wheels and listen closely at the center for any scraping or grinding / abnormal noises. If any noise is heard, then you have a dry or worn wheel / hub bearing.

      The parts are readily available from these many on-line sources,,,,, - to list only a few possibilities.
      In fact, they (RockAuto) list the rear axle hub bearing from around $42.00 each for your vehicle. Be sure to replace both sides (left and right) at the same time due to mileage / age / wear considerations. Keep in mind, these are only the parts prices - the labor to install will be additional cost. Check the 'How-To-Guides' feature on the Auto MD website for the specific steps to install.

    IT seems since it has gotten very hot here the van makes a loud (it seems loud inside) humming/vibrating sounds.
    IT seems to happen after the car has been driven for a distance of more than maybe 10 miles in the heat I think. It presents when coming to a slow cruise and sometimes when accelerating from a stop. It is not brake related. I have 106K miles. I had it checked 2 ...

      These vehicles are notorious for wheel hub issues. Most the time the noise of a hub is present at all times. However I have seen weird noises developed as the bearing heats up. These vehicles also have tire issues if they Are not rotated frequently. Tires start to cup or have flat spots. These noises are usually are present at all times. Do you have a hitch on this vehicle. If so make sure that the hitch is not grounding out on muffler or tail pipe hangers. Check for play in rear hubs and also check ebrake shoes. They sit on inside of rotor drum. They call this drum in hat rotor. Just make sure shoes are not all busted up inside.

    The A/C compressor clutch does not kick in. There is no cold air coming out of the vents.
    the pressure on the low side is in the red on the gauge, so I couldn't attempt to add R134

    Why is my fuel consumption so bad now?
    Had a tune up last year, new fuel cap and still only got 200 miles out of a full tank. Dealer had car for 8 days recently and replaced a few new parts but it is not getting the mileage it should. HELP

      Try disconnecting both battery cables and seeing if this clears it. I have seen these have problems with accelerator pedal issues or a possible throttle position sensor issue. See what codes you have if battery doesnt reset issue.

      You have coil on plug ignition. The coil sits on top of the spark plugs. You have to remove the engine top cover to get at the coils, then remove the coils to get at spark plugs. My info shows two nuts and two clips to remove the engine top cover.

      Just to add, some libraries carry automotive databases, if you live in an area they serve, the info is free. If you live outside the area they serve, you can buy access for a small yearly fee. That info is for every year--make and model they have.

      Also, the autozone site has wiring diagrams and repair info.

    Heat/ac defroster works only occasionally.
    somestimes a slight jolt to car activates the heating/ac to perform.

      I will assume that you are referring to the blower function? That being said your cause here is probably a bad blower motor and this could be confirmed by you getting access to the blower motor from under the pass side of the dash (might have to remove simple plastic sound insulation panel - couple 7mm screws. Turn the blower on and while the blower is NOT working try tapping the blower motor housing and if the motor turns on then that confirms a bad blower motor.

      "The mechanics there say its my interlock and the interlock place says its not that." - What did the interlock place say the problem was? They just cant say "its not that!" without telling you what the problem really is?

      I have a Ford and I had a short that was on my starter ground and solenoid wire. With the car Off disconnect Negative Battery Cable. Put a test light between Negative Battery Cable and Negative Battery Post. Did the light come On? If it did you have a short but it could be in the Alternator or Starter. Lets check the Alternator. Remove the Alternator Hot Wire (That's the Red Wire). Did Test Light go Off. If yes there lies your problem. A short in the Alternator Diodes. If not lets check your Starter. Make sure that none of the wires are touching. If they are there is your problem. If nothing is touching Disconnect Starter Cables that's Starter and solenoid cable. Did your light go out. Might be a bad Solenoid or starter. If you have any more question just ask. I hope this was helpful.

      Disconnect Negative battery cable. Use a D.C. Ampmeter with a 20Amp. scale. Connected Black
      lead to negative terminal of battery. Connect the Red lead to the Negative battery cable. The
      Amperage Draw should not exceed 0.5 Amps. or 500mA.
