Where is the relay switch for the radiator fansmtapia - 1998 Plymouth Voyager - Steering & Suspension - 6/13/2011-
6/13/2011 JimmCooling fan relay is located on the left front inner frame just behind the radiator.
The radiator coolant fan relay is located on the inside front of the engine compartment near the left headlight assembly. You have to remove the air filter assembly, then look for a simple square relay with 4 wires running into it. It is mounted with 2 screws. It is the only relay at that location. If it has burned, you will need to replace the pigtail wiring harness.
Remove the air box beside the battery a 10 mm bolt and the relay is a four prong square box bolted on the frame with two 8mm bolts

I had shock put on i was told that my strut mound was going bad what is this because i had shocks put onwilliam - 1999 Plymouth Neon - Steering & Suspension - 6/4/2011-
6/4/2011 JimmNot really, though having a bad strut mount will exaggerate the vibration and noise. New shocks would only tend to stiffen the suspension and not cause a strut mount to go bad.

I recently began to hear a rough noise when i would turn the steering wheel. also my steering wheel vibrates alot.jaycruz - 1996 Plymouth Breeze - Steering & Suspension - 3/5/2011i was told the noise could be due to low power steering fluid. ... is the vibrating from my steering wheel and the noise related to one another? -
Will abad tierod end bushing cause steering wheel not to return after a turn and cause the wheel to be out of alignment?mookalook - 1992 Plymouth Voyager - Steering & Suspension - 3/2/2011-
3/2/2011 Bobbythere is no tie rod end bushing, its just the tie rod end. Yes a tie rod can cause a vehicle to be out of allignment. But the not returning the wheel if the tie rod end is broken clean off then the wheel will no longer be attached to the rack and pinion and not be able to turn any more. so yes in the extrem case but if it is still connected it should turn. There are inner and outer tie rod ends also so you have to check both.

Steering noise when cold.Mike Wargo - 1990 Plymouth Laser - Steering & Suspension - 12/3/2010Recently had installed a steering rack in my 90 Plymouth Laser. Now have noise in steering when cold--OK after 15 min. warup. When cold fluid is foamy but clears after warmup. Could the rack be bad? Do I have an installer problem? What can be done to correct?-
12/3/2010 Bobbysometimes it is the quality of the rack installed. if you bought a cheap rack it couldbe the problem. also check your power steering pump and the belt tension on the pulley, it could be the belt when it is cold, or caused by the pump.

How to remove and replace torsion bar bushingRobert - 1980 Plymouth Volare - Steering & Suspension - 11/27/2010-
11/27/2010 HouseCallAutoYou have to remove the lower arm and have it pressed out and then the new one pressed back in. You cannot do this yourself without prior experience. An auto part store machine shop has to do the press work.

My 91 voyager is bottoming out. A dip in the road or just the initial lip of a driveway will make the most herrendous baFrankT - 1991 Plymouth Voyager - Steering & Suspension - 11/5/2010All new shocks & struts, new power steering reservoir in the cross member of the chassis, good tires and the springs seem to be fine... help! -
Do i need to buy new springs with my struts or can i use the old ones?chappyjason - 2000 Plymouth Neon - Steering & Suspension - 11/3/2010-
11/3/2010 HouseCallAutoYou can just buy the struts and transfer the springs but if you want to be able to skip a huge step, you could buy the struts complete with springs already mounted. The add'l cost may be worth avoiding the add'l step of having to take the struts to a local shop after you have removed them and PAYING THEM a small fee to switch the springs over to the new struts. Just order "quick struts" instead of regular struts. The difference in price is about $250 more over the cost of the regular struts but you get new springs and strut mounts and you do not need anyone else's help. I'm sure that the mechanic will want $50 to $100 to switch the springs over for you so the add'l cost may only be $150 to $200 and the difference in quality and piece of mind is huge. Well worth the add'l cash. But, you do not have to do this. if you do you will have the job done and parked in two hours. :-) here is the struts complete - Quick struts >> http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/.../TS171580.html
and here they are without new strut mount tops or new springs and require work to assemble >> http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/.../TS71580.html

Vibration when vehicle is turningFDH3d - 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager - Steering & Suspension - 10/27/2010An AWD, only as the vehicle is in a turn a shaking of the front and noise can be heard.-
10/27/2010 MOONSTER_TOOLZAny steering component malfunction can cause the vehicle to be uncontrollable. Check the level of your power steering fluid. When the power steering system has run low on fluid it can create a vibration. If the system fluid level is in the normal range and the problem persists the steering rack or pump might need replacing. Also check the power steering box mount may be loose.
