A leaked fuel injector might involve in this problem ???

The check engine light doesn't have to be ON to store a fault code.

Check the vehicle for fault codes to see if there are any sensors were involved to the malfunction of the engine.

1.Local auto parts stores such as Autozone ( not in California) or Advance Auto parts or Pep Boys will scan and retrieve any diagnostic trouble codes ( dtc ) stored in the powertrain control module for free of charge..

      2. Amazon.com has the code reader for less than $18.00 dollars + shipping
Autel MaxiScan MS300 CAN Diagnostic Scan Tool for OBDII Vehicles

3.Re-post the dtc's in here " answer question " for further assistance.

Note: we need the dtc's to identify the sensor, there are a dozen different ELECTRONIC sensors to operate the car.

Visit this site and see all the different sensor definitions.

      Throttle Position (TP) sensor
      Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
      Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor
      Idle Air Control (IAC) valve

sounds like the spring that releases the park paw broke. the park is linkage not electronic. i would have some run it in and out of park and make sure everything is moving good from the shifter to the trans before taking it to a tranny shop.

it could also be the park break sticking do you use it?

no I don't use the park brake, but the other thing is posibility! It got me puzzled because you can hear and feel it go into gear, even when you give it gas you can tell its in gear! It just acts like I have 1 foot on brake and 1 on gas! Normally I just have to shift to low gear and then to reverse, and it will go!

80 Ford Bronco makes a Whirring noise when driving?
Sounds like it's coming from under the engine, it's intermittent, doesn't go up or down in pitch, and it goes away when I stop. If it matters the Engine is a 5.8L

I have 2 very small oil drips and a small puddle of coolant possibly by tranny. Chirps when switching gears
The 2 small drips of oil r in the middle of engine almost to firewall. The coolant puddle is the same distance from the firewall but more towards pass side. Coolant also drips out while driving. Temp stays around normal but fluctuates frequently.Trans fluid is fine ...

Lets keep it simple. Yopu have two unrelated leaks. one coolant and one is tranny oil. There is no substitute for a cooling system pressure test when the car is cold to find the prigin of the coolant leak. Could be any number of things, probably not anything serious. The tranny oil drip, live with it unless you can't. The car is OBDI which is not as easy to diagnose driveability issues. OBDII began in '96, much more efficient system for diagnosis.
