    Starting problem in hot temperature
Having problem starting especially in hot temperature. some mechanic told me starter needs to be replaced. Another told me possibly both starter and fly wheel. Any idea of the cost of the repair? Starter only, fly wheel only, or both? Thanks in advance.

    OBD only links intermittently
Sometimes the OBD will link to my Actron scanner, but usually it won't and I can't figure out why. I can't smog the car as a result.

When A/C blower motor is on, there is an intermitent groaning noise that lasts a few seconds.Best fix?
Noise only last a few seconds then goes away but comes back every minute or so. Can it be repaired or better simply to replace the blower motor? Is it difficult to access?

Blower motor bearing is going out. Replace blower motor Assembly. Usually 3-4 screws. Simple to do.

The parts are readily available from these many on-line sources, www.partsgeek.com, www.rockauto.com, www.discountautoparts.com, www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.jcwhitney.com - to list only a few possibilities.
In fact, they (RockAuto) list the blower motor assembly from around $59.00 for your vehicle.

How to reset wheel warning light after snow & ice-cake has left the wheel well?
There seems to be no problem with wheels, tire pressure is good, no shimmy-shake to steering, so I just think the warning light came on with snow & ice build-up surrounding tires at one time during this bad winter. How do I reset the "wheel maintenance" warning light?

Several possibilities; weak / faulty battery, poor / faulty battery cable connections, faulty alternator / wiring / connections, faulty serpentine drive belt or belt tensioner. Have the battery and charging system tested - for free - at any local auto parts store. Post and reply and the results for further assistance.

First step - make sure the cooling system is full to the correct level with the recommended mixture of 50/50 anti-freeze and water.

Next step, make sure the cooling system is not blocked or obstructed. Then, make sure the heater controls and blower fan work. Check the fuses and relays for correct operation.

Replace new tire, sparks plugs in 2012 New brakes and ceramic brakes pad, synthetic engine oil (Royal Purple ),and K& N air filter in Nov.2013. Still no improvement in gas mileage -Nissan specification 7.8 l/.100 km on highway

First step - have the stored fault codes or check engine light scanned - for free - at any local auto parts store; Advance Auto, Auto Zone, NAPA. Then, post a reply as 'add answer' with the specific code for more assistance. There may be a fault code stored in the OBD memory which may not be displayed as a check engine light.
The excess fuel consumption can be related to many potential issues; leaking fuel system, engine out-of-tune, faulty spark plugs / plug wires, clogged fuel or air filter, large vacuum leak at the engine, and so on.

Need to have the check engine light and OBD system scanned for any stored fault codes - this will help to pinpoint a particular problem and system to diagnose.

Check the fuel mileage ratings for your vehicle at; www.fueleconomy.gov.

Driving to work hr drive then a light smoke appeared a light smell of radiator fluid but no leaks

if you are smelling coolant and seeing light smoke then there is no such thing as "no leak", small leak is there. Best way to find is to check with pressure tester when engine is overnight cold and has not been started even for a minute.
