The computer keeps teeling me that my door is ajar or that the bck hatch is open. It beeps and turns on lights
It happens randomly, almost every day. My local mechanic put it on a diagnostic and it showed nothing.

Your local mechanic has to check the door inputs with a 2000 dollar scan tool. Not everyone has this, most do. Has to check door data when the door ajar light is on, may show fault codes as well.

Why does my computer keep telling me that my door is ajar or that my back hatch is open?
It beeps and turns on lights, making me have ao shut all lights off with the main switch which prevents me from having dashboard light at night. It also randomly ssets off the alarm.

Inside each door there is a door ajar switch that can become stuck and tells you that the door is not closed all the way when it is closed all the way. Since there can be any of the 5 doors causing this (or more than one) it is best left to a mechanic with a scan tool that can see all the door inputs on the display which will determine which door is the cause. It is a strong possibility that the driver door is the cause but you cannot know without the scan tool.

I know that your cause here is one of two things, and not sure if you can handle the repair yourself. Either the General Electronic Module is bad or the Fuse Box is bad. there is a way to diagnose this but it requires some basic circuit testing while the problem is present. Do you need this detailed further?

What controls the air flow from the different vents, ie., panel vents, defrost, floor, etc. Where is the part ?
Air will only come out of the defrost and floor vents and not the panel vents, no matter what setting the AC unit is on, i.e. max AC, automatic, etc.

This vehicle has a panel / defrost actuator and a floor mode actuator.
A malfunctioning panel / defrost actuator is the cause of the problem described. The part is inside the dash.
See this Fig. EATC, Page 02 (2003, System overview) at ( under the wiring diagrams ).

It may be normal because I seem to remember that there is a switch inside that controls every thing. If you have the hand book it would help if not check out the switches for interior and dash .It has different positions.

    Auto locks used to work
Bought the car a month ago and the auto locks worked. Three days later, a yellow indicator on the dash came on (it looks like a person sitting with an airbag in its face). The indicator will blink (blinks five times, then stays on). Since then, auto locks haven't ...

1st- check to see if the fuse for the dash lighting, etc is good
2nd- if fuse is good, then it could be burned out dash bulbs or the dimmer switch might have went bad

I do know that there is a sensor that kicks in when the engine warms up the fan motor should slow down and change the air flow from the Defrosters to the dash board (face ) outlets, my AC doesn't blow anywhere except out the defrosters all the time.-- I am wondering where the sensor is located and is there a selonid that changes these vacum accuated damper doors that control the flow direction?
      6/30/2013 CVO
Check the panel / defrost actuator ( it determines the air flow location ). The actuator is made out of the plastic materials, a cracked could have stopped the synchronizing gear operation.

What switch are you talking about, being good? Did you check for voltage, anywhere? Is this with or without drl? There may be a lighting controll module involved? I don't know if there would be trouble codes for that module, but, check and see. Some of the national brand autostores will check codes for free.

No air from dash vents.AC or heat.
Some air from floor ducts and vents on top of dash. What controls regular dash vents? Some times after about 15 min. everything will work, but intermittently. Are the dash vents fused or do they work with a relay? How do I find it
