10/14/2012 CVOThe A/C lines have to disconnect.

9/16/2012 HouseCallAuto1. At the wiper motor, monitor the Yellow/Red (YE/RD) wire at pin 1 to see if it gets grounded when turning the switch to high. If it does but the motor continues to run on low speed, suspect a bad wiper motor.
2. If the YE/RD wire does not get grounded with the switch in high speed, go to the switch connector and check the YE/RD there. If it gets grounded at the switch with the switch in the high speed position, locate and repair the open circuit between the switch and wiper motor.
3. If the wire is not grounded at the switch, check for a bad connection. If the connections are OK, suspect a faulty wiper switch (multi function switch).

Their standard location is by the blower motor housing.
8/31/2012 sam69i heard that there's two different resistors, one for the mechanical controller, and one for the digital controller, mine is the digital. is there any difference on location?

It has a difference in the electronics, but the structure is all the same with two or four screws for the installation.
