How to remove ingnition Lock Cylinder 1984 Mercedes Benz 300SDal - 1984 Mercedes Benz 300SD - Steering & Suspension - 3/12/2012Cna someone help me and tell me how to remove ingnition Lock Cylinder from 1984 Mercedes Benz 300SD? thanks, Al-
3/12/2012 zukijoeTurn the key to position 1 and remove the key.
Pry the cover sleeve from the lock cylinder with a small screwdriver.
Using a bent paper clip, hook onto the cover sleeve and remove the sleeve. Be sure that you do not remove the rosette in the dashboard also.
Insert the paper clip between the rosette and the steering lock and push in the lock pin. Remove the lock cylinder slightly with the key.
Insert the paper clip into the locking hole and pull the lock cylinder completely out.
Installation is the reverse of removal. Turn the lock cylinder to position 1 and insert it into the steering lock, making sure that the lock pin engages. Push the cover sleeve into position 1.
Make sure the cylinder operates properly.

1. Eibach
2. Get the AMG SL500 Lowering Springs If someone wants a really progressive spring rate, BUY THESE springs They require custom fitting, but it is well worth it.

I am in need of a upper and lower control arm what would the price be on these items.Marlene Burchette - 2004 Mercedes Benz E320 - Steering & Suspension - 2/26/2012-
2/26/2012 JimmYou did not specify whether you needed the front or rear suspension control arms. Try the many on-line auto parts sources; such as, www.RockAuto.com or www.autopartswarehouse. com.
For example, they (Rock Auto) list the lower control arms (front) for around $43.00 each, and the upper front control arms for around $80.00 each.
Then, you need to have these installed plus a front wheel or four-wheel alignment. Try the 'Estimate Cost' feature on this website for the repair estimates, and try the 'Find-A-Shop' to locate a repair shop in your area.

the cost of repair for a crack torque strut bushing?seneca - 2006 Mercedes Benz CLS500 - Steering & Suspension - 2/23/2012-
2/23/2012 Spoon SportsDon't know if you can order the bushings seperate for the torque arm, but a whole new torque arm (and I'm assuming the bushings are pressed in) are $52 each list price. What's odd to me is why just those bushings, why not the tie rod and control arm bushings? They are all the same age
