Yes you can, however make sure you don't install an agressive tread. I had to change tires twice before I got a smooth ride. Goodyear Assurance.

Lift up the vehicle using the jack and place it on jack stands. Make sure the vehicle is secure before you crawl underneath it. Remove the tires using the tire iron and place them to the side.

Pop the trunk and pull back the side panel carpeting to expose the shock towers. Clamp the vice grips to the very top of the shock, then loosen it from the mount using an open-end wrench.

Unbolt the bottom of the shock from the lower control arm and remove the shock from the suspension. Install the replacement shock onto the lower mount using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket.

Cut the plastic cable that holds the shock together and guide the top of the shock into the upper shock mount. Then move to the inside of the trunk and bolt the shock in place using the vice grips and an open-end wrench.

Reinstall the tires using the tire iron, then raise the vehicle off of the jack stands using the jack and place it back on the ground.

If the lower arm joint is bad, that would cause increased tire wear. That part should be covered under warranty, and I would have the Dealer replace the tires for free...

Raise the front tires OFF the ground.
With the car NOT running, move the steering stop to stop several times.
Start the engine, let it idle for 30 seconds or so.
      Turn it off.
      Repeat step 2.
      Top off as required.

The reason you need to do this with the engine off, is the pump constantly moves the fluid and time the engine is running. If there is air in the system, it's going to pump fluid and air.
With the engine off, the air is able to bubble up out of the system as the fluid is not being pumped.
