3/14/2013 bonntebthe suitability of a tire to different weather conditions depends on their treads and and generally how well they can be able to grip the surface. There are many kinds of tires that can work including pro comp wheels. these are known to last long and should be able to sort you out.

2/26/2013 JasonSounds like you need to check the alternator output. The battery voltage should be about 13.5 to 14.5 volts while the engine is running.

2/16/2013 JimmAre you referring to the heater hose at the heater core? If yes, then the heater hose connections and the hose clamps the heater core are accessed from underneath the instrument panel.

2/3/2013 CVOBattery/Charging Alert:
Indicates voltage level is below normal level and the vehicle's charging system is not functioning properly. Check battery terminals, alternator belt, and battery condition.
Local auto parts stores will test this vehicle charging system with their mobile analyzer for free of charge and they will confirm accurately the results of this problem.
Note: the voltage output from the alternator must deliver between 13.5 to 14.5 volts in order to turn off the battery light.

My '84 Mercedes 300D has been sitting stored for a bit. Is there a drain point on the tank to drain the diesel fuel?gmmckel - 1984 Mercedes Benz 300D - Preventive Maintenance - 2/9/2013Spring is on its way! Having been kept in storage I'm thinking Ild best drain and change what diesel there is in the tank (water & contamination) so I'm not faced w any more issues than ness. How can I go about draining the tank?

2/9/2013 JimmCheck the tank for a drain point. If there is none, then simply disconnect the fuel line at either; the fuel tank or at the fuel filter to drain out the old fuel. It may help to lift / raise the rear of the vehicle to allow gravity to work

2/9/2013 HouseCallAutoIt takes 5.5 liters with a new filter. The coolant type - Either use genuine MB coolant or you can use Zerex G-05 which is sold in many auto supply stores. Zerex is approved by MB

2/1/2013 JasonUnlikely that all four could have a nail, but I guess anything is possible... Check the valve stem, rim and tire with water.

1/28/2013 1beastlydudeim not sure what m calls it but it is of the neutral saftey variety, being that it is a mercdes, I would just start it in nuetral, im sure that sensor whatever its called isnt cheap!
