There's no recall for your vehicle but there's 15 TSB's and 4 of therm is for your power train. Navigate this link http://www.automd.com/recall-tsb/search/
and just click the title of the TSB to see its summary.

You will notice that TSB online are just summary, if you want to obtain a full TSB report you can purpose it online or visit forums for your vehicle. All TSB's are submitted to NHTSA, as required by law, where they become a matter of public record and will also be provided to vehicle owners upon request.

I have read a lot about this & I'm in the same process of trying to figure it out also. I have a 2007 Lincoln MKX FWD with only 39000 miles on it that seems to be having some transmission problems. From what I have read it seems that there are some issues with the 6f50 transaxles that were built prior to 1/1/07.

Transmission is junk. If you get online you notice a million and one people claiming the same problems occur after using transmission repair fluids. I have personal experience with numerous vehicles while working at a used car lot for 8 years and not one single time have any type of repair fluids you could imagine that we've tried has ever worked and 90 % of them have all caused immediate problems which required rebuild the transmission as the only fix. Sorry for the bad news. Transmission was already on its way out prior to using the repair stuff. Some manufacturers even state not to use them on there vehicles. Causes seals to swell up and or clogs passage ways beyond what is allowed to work properly.

First question - when was the last / most recent transmission fluid and filter change? Should be performed every 36k miles or so.

after changing filter and adding fluid and trans repair i drove 25 mi and trans refused to engage entirely

What is the trans repair you mentioned? Is this repair other than the fluid and filter change? At any rate - these symptoms are not a positive indication. These indicate a more serious problem with the transmission.

some times they put a solenoid that will lock shifter until either brake pedal in pressed then it will release shifter its called shifter interlock solenoid you can manually unlock it

Check and see if the brake lights are working the moment you discover that the shifter will not come out of park, and if possible, do not remove your foot from the brake pedal and ask the person you are with to see if the brake lights are on. If the brake lights are not on, replace the brake light switch. That would be the cause of the shifter problem in that situation.

In order to help you with a possible diagnosis - especially one with so many codes, you will have to tell the full story from the beginning which should be more than a few sentences. I want code numbers as well, all of them. Give me all details that led up to what you have now. What happened?

can u tell my how to check the ecu and pcm? The story here it goes.... Bought it from a auction took it to a profesional shop they said to changes the tranny cause its cheaper than repairing the sloenoids. Did that now its stoll slow to acclerate until 30mph had the codes read and 33 showed up all have to do with electronic parts.

There is no set 123 procedure to check the PCM. Diagnosis of a bad TCM or PCM is done based upon what fault codes are stored and then add'l circuit tests. I asked you to tell me the code numbers. Telling me that there was 33 codes stored does not work. There is no procedure that you follow to rule a good or bad PCM however, having a professional shop grade scanner hooked up and showing live sensor data on the display is a key part of a diagnosis. This is one diagnosis that a non professional cannot do with any reliability.
