2/3/2011 James Vaughnyou have 5 of them. one mounted to the rim on the inside of all 4 tires and one on your spare. if your tires are inflated properly the lights should go off. also check the spare as it may be low too
2/3/2011 James Vaughnsorry i didn't see where u needed it replaced. i'd call a tire shop first as some do carry them. you can find the part at auto zone. part # 20096 cost is 57.99 plus tax and then you have to take it to a tire shop to have it installed. hope this helps. good luck

My brakes are soft and I have to pump them up.ROBBIE - 2002 Lincoln Town Car - Brakes - 1/17/2011A mechanic told me I had water in the brake fluid and wanted $60 to drain and refill. I have done it myself on two occaissions. The brakes work fine for about a month or two but then become soft again. I have checked for leaks, bad gasket, etc., How is water getting ...-
11/4/2010 DanWhen you changed the brake fluid did it look like it had water in it?
I have had these symptoms before and it ended up being the master cylinder.
I dont see how water can magically get in a closed brake system if you are sure you have no leaks and are using the correct DOT # brake fluid. -
1/17/2011 BeegAlso when you replaced fluid did you bleed the lines to get all the air out of lines by pumping brakes repeatedly with line open at wheel till you see it flow out? That will cause SOFT brakes if air is in the line.

Parking brake not working properlyBob - 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII - Brakes - 11/29/2010Disk brakes.. pads appear OK.....does not appear to move manuel cable enough to engage brakes fully.... wiill new calibers correct the problem... and new pads???-
11/29/2010 AutobahnTry adjusting it first, the adjustment is on the drivers side under the car but your rear brakes are probably worn down. There is a lock down nut that has to be loosened then turn the second nut a couple to a few turns and the tighten down the lock down nut.

I am losing break fluid rapidly from under the driverside of my vehicle. What do I need to replace.Ronald - 1994 Lincoln Town Car - Brakes - 11/21/2010-
11/21/2010 HouseCallAutoYou have a rusted through steel brake line under the rear of the vehicle. The repair is not a DIY repair because it involves double flaring multiple brake lines and fabricating them from coil 3/16" tubing not even mentioning the difficulty in running the lines over and under chassis and body components. I have repaired several 90's Town Car brake line leaks. Takes me at least 4 hours or more.

Why does my car stutter when i brake to a stop?blackghost - 1996 Lincoln Town Car - Brakes - 8/6/2010my car has 163000 miles on it . i just replace the bearing hub assembly on both sides front. the car did not do this before they were replaced. one of the huds had a slight bend where the abs tongue inserts in the groves.-
8/6/2010 BobbyThis can be caused by a few different things,
Loose steering or suspension component
Vehicle needs an alignment
warped rotors
bad bearings
did you do the work or did you have someone else do it?
Sometimes after replacing hub and bearings the vehicle neds to be alligned, also could be that if the hubs were real bad before being replaced that the rotors are possibly warped from the loose play.

WHEN I HIT MY BRAKES SOMETIMES MY BRAKE PEADAL WOUNT COME BACK UPBIGMIKE44 - 1993 Lincoln Town Car - Brakes - 8/3/2010-
8/3/2010 Bobbythis could be caused by the mechanism that brings the pedal back up it is usually a spring. This might also be that something is wrong with your brake hydraulic system. Check for leaks behind the wheels and under the vehicle. Check the brake fluid level, is it all the way up?
