Condensation occurs in the headlight due to poor sealant. Rubber gasket is cracked / deteriorated. It may be either resealed or replaced.
Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.RockAuto.com or www.autopartswarehouse.com for the replacement parts.

The shop replaced my headlight unit, but headlight does not rotate when turning my steering wheel anymore. Any ideas?
The complete headlight unit was replaced as well as the computer panel located just below the headlight. The AFS is "On" and the left side turns, but the right side does not, which is the side where I hit a deer.

Good day Mitch, sorry to hear about your Dash, now i believe it can be fixed, but unfortunately im not there to see the damage let alone know what you mean by hollow.

I believe this has to be inspected by a mechanic, however dont fret, im not asking you to get it fixed by a mechanic, all you have to do is get an opinion and post it here and ill see what i can do.

How do I replace a rear passenger corning light on the bumper.

    • Spoon Sports

There is just one bolt that fastens the corner light that can be accessed from underneath the bumper. You may only have to pop one or two of the plastic bumper tabs to get better access.

Why is my heater not putting out heat through the vents?
Vehicle has approx 100k miles. I can feel some heat but its not what you would expect and it seems to not be directed through the proper vents. It can be adjusted on drivers/passengers side. I had the "Heater core" replaced about 2 years ago.

    Cruse control doesn,t work
I have a 1994 nissan pick-up and when I turn on the cruse control, the speed is not setting, acts like it is still in off mode. What might be the problem? The fuse is good...

On the brake pedal up, by the brake light switch, there are two plastic stops, one turns on the brake lihgts
the other turns off the cruse control when the brakes are pressed. Change those stops. I used the same
sized plastic screw and nut combo to replace those stops or you can run to the dealership and grab a set of them. Also do not rule out that the cruse stop may just be missing all together. This will stop the cruse conrol
      from working at all.

What does it smell like and have you ever changed your cabin air filter? I'm not sure if the the 1992 is the same as the 97 ES300, but these links may help.

      Instructions

      Things You'll Need
      Bleach
      Soap
      Foaming coil cleaner
      Garden hose
      1
Locate your air conditioner's condensation drain line.

      2
Remove this line and flush it with bleach water to kill mold and mildew. Allow this to dry thoroughly before you replace it.

      3
Find the drip pan located near the heat exchange on your furnace. Remove this tray and clean it thoroughly with hot, soapy water. Allow it to dry and then put it back.

      4
Lift the top of your air conditioning unit to expose the inside.

      5
Use a flashlight and visually inspect every area of the inside of your unit. Look for anything that would cause odor or smells such as rotting vegetation or dead animals. Remove all debris.

      6
Spray foaming coil cleaner and allow it to sit for five to ten minutes. This will soften and loosen dirt, grime and oil.

      7
Hose out the unit. Continue to run the water through the unit until the water runs clear.

This is a common problem for all air conditioners (in a car or not), and is caused by mildew growth. In cars it often happens when people run their A/C on the recirculation all of the time, or the drain gets clogged. The system doesn't dry out completely and mildew starts to grow.

You should be concerned about your health, especially if you have allergies. Just imagine all that mildew and god knows what else growing in there and being spewed in your face every time you turn the A/C on... Here's a link to US EPA page describing how mold may affect health, if you are still not convinced.

The things you should do to remove the cause of your problem and prevent it from happening again:

      *

Run it on recirculation only when something stinks outside, or you want it to cool down quickly. Fresh air from outside will help it dry out better.
      *

Make sure that your A/C drain isn't clogged and there is no water building up.

And this is what you could do to remove the unpleasant effects:

      *

Run the heater on full for a while, that will dry out the system and might 'cook' the mildew.
      *

Change your cabin air filter (if you have one).
      *

There are special sprays sold to remove the mildew from the A/C system (read the instructions carefully before using them). Just using Lysol or some other stuff like that will work too, but the smell will be more unpleasant.

I suggest that you do all of this, and in the specified order.

The heater core maybe leaking coolant or the evaporator condensation drain line is plugged.
make sure to check your coolant level it needs to top off
