The SRS idiot light is on caused by a failed sensor in the front passenger seat. 4/18/2012 chinasinoyi think the fault codes stored your ABS,you can use a code scanner to clear the fault codes

Hvac blower alternates from high to low speedallencd - 1995 Lexus LS400 - Body & Interior - 4/4/2012When I set my blower to high it will blow at high for about 30 seconds then cut back to low for a few minutes. Cold it be the blower motor resistor?

4/3/2012 yboy82Check under the dashboard (glove box) if you can't see a rectangular shape with electrical connector on it, then you have to remove your blower motor housing to see the blower motor resistor.
4/3/2012 allencdmy blower alternates from max to low ( blows max for maybe 30 seconds then back to low for maybe 3 mins ). Do you think it could be the resistor

4/2/2012 EG9 K20A3You will have to remove the door trim to gain access to the bolts and connector.
DISASSEMBLY
1. REMOVE DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
1. Open the cap, then remove the screw.
2. Using a screwdriver, remove the inside handle bezel. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
2. REMOVE POWER WINDOW SWITCH Using a screwdriver, remove the panel as shown in the illustration. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
3. REMOVE DOOR TRIM
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the courtesy light, then disconnect the connector. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
2. Remove the 4 screws and 2 clips.
3. Insert a screwdriver between the trim and door panel to pry the door trim. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
4. Release the claws, then remove the inner weatherstrip from the door trim.
4. REMOVE INSIDE HANDLE Remove the screw and inside handle, then disconnect the 2 cables.

My Air conditioning vent door flaps loudly and repeatedly when the air conditioner comes on and starts blowing air.Patrick D - 2001 Lexus RX300 - Body & Interior - 3/31/2012The vent flapping open and close repeatedly sounding like flipping a deck of cards between your hands. This only occurs when the AC starts up after sitting idle a while and ends after a period of between 3 and 5 minutes of multiple vent shutter movement.

3/16/2012 yboy82Try to check for battery voltage and ground at headlight electrical connector with a multitester on the dim headlight. If battery voltage is present, trace the ground circuit for the headlamp electrical connector, then clean and repair as necessary.
And if the voltage at the headlight electrical connector is significantly less than the voltage at the battery, refer to the headlight wiring diagram of your vehicle to troubleshoot and locate the voltage drop.

3/12/2012 Spoon SportsFirst try resetting the VSC by cycling the on-off button. It's located below the dash just about in line with your right knee. Feel around under there and you'll find two buttons about 2" apart. One resets the tire pressure warning and the other turns the VSC on and off. Your newer model will probably be different, but it's a place to look. I forgot which is which.
Or you could check your owners' manual . . .
I can also see the ABS/Wheel sensor causing problems for the VSC. Get it scanned, lots of possibilities, i dont even want to guess because i dont want to send you on a wild goose chase.

3/3/2012 ARMY OF 4 TIRESIf they're caps they should just pop off by prying at them with a flat head screwdriver(cover tip with electrical tape if theres something you don't want to scratch), if they're plastic rivets and you don't have the proper tool then using 2 flat head screwdrivers to pry them out(one on each side) would work
