My car suddenly slowed down as if I hit a rock.
As I was driving, I heard a thump come from under my car, then the car suddenly slowed down (as if I hit the brakes, but I didn't, or hit a huge rock) I stopped the car and inspected it, but there was no physical sign of anything. As I drove it home I felt as if I ...

You have to plug in a code reader and see what fault codes are stored. This may be an engine sensor failure or a timing belt that jumped or a catalytic converter but I need more info / evidence to go on. Fault codes are the evidence or even a lack of codes says something. remember, I can't test drive it so I need input data. The code reader can be bought at amazon for $21 and reading codes takes 2 minutes, or take it to a shop but you know what that will mean. If you can supply some add'l specific details that would lead me away from suspecting the power loss being an engine malfunction I will listen. maybe something in the rear broke and is rubbing on the rear tire or rotor or brakes. Just need more detail. Drive it again and listen

No the O2 sensor wont cause the other codes, they are codes that show slippage in the particular gear range indicated. Overdrive is disabled due to these p07** codes. Get ready for rebuild or swap out.

      Hello
I know with some of those models vacuum locking hubs were used. Make sure that any vacuum lines are not leaking. The hubs could also have an issue with vacuum loss.Hope this helps you.

Here are several possible on-line auto parts sources; www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.1aauto.com, www.rockauto.com. For example, they (RockAuto) list the clutch kit from around $129.00, and the clutch master cylinder from around $45.00 for your vehicle.

Do not put in 90W oil or your AUTOMATIC transmission will need replacement within two minutes of starting it up. The correct weight oil is ATF SP-III. This is not sold everywhere. It has to say SP-III, not Mercon or Dexron. Of course if the transmission is a manual transmission (you did not say but assume that it is an automatic) then it would take 80W90 gear oil
