9/9/2010 HouseCallAutoYou can buy a repair manual. No person should try to do a heater core without a step by step manual with the pics right next to them. We do not have that information here.
9/10/2010 elbecerro_1i cannot find a repair manual for the 1999 kia sportage. Neither chilton or Haynes nor kia manufacturer has one. Do you or someone knows of a viable resource that has the repair manual for this vehicle???

9/10/2010 firehawkrb69autozone has or can order it . you can also get it free at autozone.com click on repair info at top then click on repair guides in left column then select you year ,make ,etc. then heating and a/c and theres your guide with pics. I just did it for your car to make sure...good luck

9/10/2010 AC130 SpectreYou have to remove your interior door panel to see what's what, im thinking the locks have been severed since you are unable to open it either with the fob or the manual way.

8/22/2010 hired gunif you have a plug in for computer cig. ligther etc, you may find a charger or jump unit to plug in at this port, which would charge bat. or jump motor or at least allow you to open hood if it is ele hood release.

7/28/2010 HouseCallAutoWith the proper KIA manual in front of you it is likely that you could do it. Verify whatever you buy has a service procedure for the dash cover. KIA parts may have a clear exploded view that they will print for you which can help.

7/22/2010 BlackwaterYou have to remove the dashboard once you remove the dash board you will see the various lights for each function, the problem i am seeing here is removing the dash, replacing the bulbs is a breeze.
