    How do i adjust headlights
    • Nissan Technical Advisor
      Here it is.

When headlights are replaced or any time front-end work is performed on the vehicle, the headlights should be aimed using the proper equipment. Headlights not properly aimed can make it virtually impossible to see and may blind other drivers on the road, causing injury or death.

Park the vehicle on a level-surface, with the fuel tank about 1/2 full and with the vehicle empty of all extra cargo (unless normally carried)
The vehicle should be facing a wall that is no less than six feet (1.8m) high and 12 feet (3.7m) wide
The front of the vehicle should be about 25 feet from the wall
If aiming is to be performed outdoors, wait until dusk to properly see the headlight beams on the wall
If done in a garage, darken the area around the wall as much as possible by closing shades or hanging cloth over windows
      Turn the headlights ON.
Mark the wall at the center of each light's low beam.
Turn on the high beams and mark the center of each headlight's high beam.
A short length of masking tape that is visible from the front of the vehicle may be used.

NOTE: Although marking all four positions is advisable, marking one position from each light should be sufficient.

      Perform the necessary repairs.
      Turn the headlights ON.
Adjust the beams to match the marks on the wall.

First , how old is the battery because you did not say. Battery has a 3 - 5 year life. You can rule out the battery by immediately disconnecting the negative battery cable when you are done with the vehicle for the day. If it starts the next day then you know the battery is good. If it don't, replace the battery. If the battery is dated, replace it anyway.

Battery is 1 year old and i checked it at autozone anyway. Its all good. When i disconnect the battery next day it starts purfectly. Sounds to me like something is slowly draining the battery. But what?

If you had mentioned that you did that already did that I would not have gone there. The first thing that I will suggest is that you disable the alarm and remote start by finding and removing the fuses. If you cannot do it have a shop that does alarms disconnect it because if you think you have found and removed all the fuses and you didn't, it will confuse your diagnostic procedure. You have to be 100% sure that neither the alarm or remote start has a pathway to use power. Update this post.

I cannot tell you what the cause is but I will explain what you have to do to isolate it. You will need a digital volt - amp meter. Are you comfortable using one and do you have access to one? Nothing fancy on the meter but has to be able to read at least 5 amps DC. and DC volts.

yes I got one. Can use for basic stuff. Where do I start?

Make sure the light comes on in the switch for the defoer, if it dosent then check for power to switch, if there is power then check for power at the terminals in the back window.

Door lock latch is stuck closed, try to spray it with WD40, it may help to release it. In case it does not work replacement of the lock assembly is required. Have a body shop technician perform the task for you to ensure good work and prevent damage on your trim or car body.

My driver door doesnt unlock. I can unlock it only by my key but you have to play with it to get it unlocked.
the other 3 doors have no problem it is just my driver door. On the handle it shows the unlock and locked part like it works but when you go to open the door it doesnt open. Do you have any ideas what the problem could be?????

Your door lock actuator might be defective. Also check the condition of the wires/connection in your door lock it might be loose.
