The dealer will send it to a body shop, this is known as sublet work. It would be cheaper to go to a body shop directly then go to the dealer.

Usually when I first enter the car with key in hand it displays a welcome message on the display. However, it does not do this anymore. Would anybody know why and how I can get it back?

The car would have to be looked at in person at an auto body shop. There is no way for anyone other than that person to know the cost.

Lubricate the hood latch by spraying the WD-40 on it ( the latch and the lock bolt ).

The blower motor ground is controlled by a field effect transistor ( FET ), through the Drain & Gate ( They're the power to the FET and they located in the AC control module ). A malfunctioning of the AC control module ( ACCM ) could deny the ground.
Local auto parts stores might have the fixture to test that ACCM or negotiate with the store managers to obtain a accm loaner for a try.

Need more information - is there small voltage - such as around 12 volts DC at the connector to the blower motor - from the supply wiring and source? If no, then check the wiring and circuit / supply to the blower motor - for a short or an open wiring condition. If yes, then suspect the blower motor itself.
To confirm the blower motor, run a jumper wire - two conductor - from the 12 VDC battery supply to the motor itself - bypassing the switch, wiring feed circuit and fuse.
If the motor does not operate during this test, then suspect the blower motor. One more test, redirect the jumper wires to the control module / resistor switch itself and then test the blower motor. It may be the problem is with the blower motor control module - test for this before replacing the blower motor.

      Try these on-line sources; www.partsgeek.com, www.rockauto.com, www.discountautoparts.com, www.autopartswarehouse.com - to list only a few possibilities.
As example, they (RockAuto) list the blower motr control module / resistor from around $62.00, and the blower motor from around $92.00 for your vehicle.

I have a 2005 Kia LX van. The drivers side window (powered) does not raise properly.
The glass tilts toward the front of the vehicle while raising. Lowers fine. I've had the door apart but cannot find any adjustment points. Am I just missing them or is this a sign of a bigger problem? Any advise is appreciated.

Your window probably came off the track. You need to take off the door panel and look inside the door. If you have the window about half way up it will help to see the tracks. Look wear the front of the glass attaches to the regulator. This is where the problem is. The glass needs to be reattached and then set back on track.

The glass probably came out of the track on the front. Take off the door panel. If you raise the window up about half-way you should be able to check out where the window attaches to the track. The window should attach to the regulator assembly on the bottom of the glass. Make sure the front is still attached the same as rear.

Check the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse.com, wwwpartsgeek.com, and www.rockauto.com - to list only a few.

The part is: Standard Motor Products part # RY1079. Price is around $14.00 for the relay. The location is in the fuse panel or power distribution block just underneath the instrument panel.

Tail lights stay on, thus draining the battery. What do I do? Also, how do you repair a door that is not locked?
Both driver side doors have lost the outside handle, while the driver door has done something that seems to indicate that a cable or something has snapped as the door will not engage.

Why did my car's front windshield crack without an impact?
It was parked in the parking and there was no sign of a impact made by any external force.

The windshield crack may occur due to several conditions; excess stress due to the windshield gasket, the windshield installation may be incorrect, or excess heat.
If it cracked with no impact it is a defect - due to the installation during assembly, or the windshield itself may be defective.

If we make a complaint to the manufacturer, is it possible to get it replaced by the company for free? The wind shield was defective since there was no impact on it.
