Why does my Heater Fan inadvertently stop working?godwinpdx - 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Body & Interior - 12/13/2012164K The fan will stop for a while (weeks sometimes) and the fan switch seems to do nothing. Then out of the blue it will start to work again.-
12/13/2012 roywesley2003Sometimes its the fan speed selector switch, or more commonly the climate control knob has a short at the pigtail where it connects to the switch assembly.

My driver side power seat mounting bracket has broken can i replace this with a regular sliding bracketseehawks - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Body & Interior - 12/13/2012I dont want to spend alot of money on this but need it replaced asap for safety. I need to know if regular sliding seat can be useed to replace the power seat and can it bolt in the same holes?

12/13/2012 roywesley2003Have you considered removing it and having it welded? That would be quick and would be a great fix and would surely bolt right back in. I am sorry that I cannot answer your question about a regular sliding seat bolting directly in, but my money would be on saying yes.

12/5/2012 Desi11.2 volt should be fine, But the current flow also should be measured just to see if controller is providing sufficient Amps to power it. You could try connecting a 10 Watts bulb in the line and see if the voltage drops when engaged to check if the current flow is also fine.

11/28/2012 JimmLooking for the person who rear-ended your vehicle! Seriously, what exactly is meant by the question? If the rear bumper is damaged and loose, then by all means call the insurance adjuster for an estimate and inspection.

11/24/2012 JimmA TSB (technical service bulletin) is not an extended warranty. The TSBs are issued to the dealer repair network for notification and repair of an issue and are independent of any warranty activity.

11/23/2012 JimmFirst step, check the light switch itself for a loose connection. Then, check the headlight switch for a loose connection - it sounds, from the symptoms described - like a loose connection at one of the light switches.

11/20/2012 markeep should have improved the wiring harness.
Look inside the black rubber boot in the driver's side door between the hinges.
The large (yellow?) wire is typically broke in half from flexing.
use a test light to verify if it is hot.
you can repair it, but I found adding a section of wire to make it longer worked best.
I used the same gauge wire with butt connectors and electrical tape. I think I added about 4 inches to my harness length.
