Do you have settings to use outside air or inside air. The dial or button may have logo of car with arrow out side of car pointing into vehicle and car with two arrows in circle inside the car. This will select between using outside air or recirculate the cabin air for colder A/C. If you have it set to recirculate the inside air it will not remove the inside moisture which causes fogging. You should set controls to use outside air this will remove the moisture in the interior and defog the windows much quicker. If your A/C does not work then the defrost will not work as effectively.

First check for burned out bulbs. If bulbs are good test the blinker switch. You most likely need a new turn signal switch.

    Is the Cowl drain plugged?
It's raining. Inside my Jeep! My front floors are soaked in my Jeep Cherokee. Every time it rains, it gets worse. From what I gather from googling it seems the cowl drain might be plugged up. Can anyone give me advice on how to clean it or how much it would cost to ...

I would also consider the possibility that it could be rusted away around the fire wall . Probably the same cowl -drain but I'm not familiar with the term. I don't have any idea how much it cost, but I would try clearing it my self if I had the problem.Maybe compressed air would do it if you have access to a compressor.Or try a strong vacuum cleaner if it is possible to open the area to get the hose close enough.

You will need a slender long shaft torx screwdriver and slide it in between the turn signal and the corner light from the front of the jeep.

Just had the AC serviced, but it still blows warm air. AC shop pinched off heater hoses and it blew colder. Any ideas?
Just had AC serviced. 2 years ago almost all components were replaced. AC shop says pressures are good, compressor is good, no leaks.

This vehicle has an Air Mix Mode Actuator Blend Door.

The blend door actuator is a servo responsible for controlling the mix of warm air from the heater core and cool air from the A/C and outside. If it malfunctions, your climate control system may not respond properly when you change the temperature on the climate control system.

Both the manual and the automatic systems use this servo to control the blend door. If your ATC system fails to automatically change temp, this is also an indicator that the servo has failed.

The Mode Door Actuator controls the direction of airflow. It selects which way air flows through the different ducts. If your climate control system has lost the ability to control which vents the air comes out of, the MDA has probably failed. Both the ATC and MTC systems use this device.

Both failures can be seen by the climate control system's integrated diagnostics system.

Check the 'How-To-Guides' on the AutoMD website for the general steps to replace just the rearview mirror glass portion.

Check the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.partsgeek.com, www.rockauto.com - to list only a few. For example, they (RockAuto) list the outside rearview mirror (assembly) from around $20.00 for your vehicle. It may be just as inexpensive to replace the entire assembly - if the mirror cannot be located as a separate item.

However, most local auto parts stores carry the separate mirror glass from around $10.00; Advance Auto, Auto Zone, NAPA, O' Reillys - to list only a few sources.

First step - check the fuse and healdlamp relays and physical connections - be sure these clean and tight. Next, check the headlamp wiring - common to both headlights - there may be a short in one spot due to rubbing the wiring on a metal body part when the vehicle turns.

this means there is a problem with one of the sensors, controls or airbag itself in the airbag circuit.
A code scanner would be required to diagnose further. This is a safety item and should be looked into.

Are you referring to the plastic nozzle? If yes, these are easily replaced - usually held in place by a small screw or bolt. The replacement washer parts are available at any local auto parts stores; be sure to take the old parts to match up.

First step - check the headlamp light switch when the tail lights are (supposed to be) on. Use a volt / ohm meter - you should have a small DC voltage - roughly 12 V to the switch and from the switch to the wiring / connection common to both tail lights.

it is possible to have a faulty headlamp switch, especially since you already replaced most components for each tail light - this says the problem is between the headlamp switch and the components / wiring common to both tail lights.
