4/24/2013 frankiedon53When you say bonnet ,you mean the hood.Are you saying that when you pull the hood-latch from inside the vehicle that it doesn't work ? If the handle is broken off ,hold it with a vise-grip. I'm sure there's a way,but without knowing exactly what the problem is, it's difficult to say more.

Driver and passenger windows do not return to the "up" position when closed.mbbco - 2000 Jaguar XK8 - Body & Interior - 3/19/2013Car is a convertible. Window drops down like it should when door is open but will not return to the closed position upon door being closed.

4/5/2012 colinjust use some drawing pis to hold it up again ,make a nice line of them or buy coloured ones .works for me ,this car is too old to spend a lot of money on it ,unless its a diesel manual version

3/13/2012 Spoon Sportssounds like a bad motor, easy to replace. or easier, might just be a bad switch.
Just drop down the dome light and remove the 3 torx screws that are holding it in. replace with the new module.
to reprogram, hold till the unit goes alll the way back, then hold for an additional 5sec (you will hear a small click), then do the same for going forward. repeat until the sunroof follows it's normal path.

3/13/2012 Spoon SportsPress the sunroof switch forward to move the sliding roof panel into the tilted position.
Release the sunroof switch.
Press and hold the sunroof switch forward until the sliding roof panel moves slightly. This may take 30 seconds or more.
Release the sunroof switch.
Immediately press and hold the sunroof switch in the forward position. The sliding roof panel will move down and rearward to the open position, and then forward into the closed position. Do not release the sunroof switch until the sliding roof panel has stopped completely.
Your sunroof panel should now be reset,

7/26/2012 JimmBlower motor = faulty motor fuse, faulty motor wiring or connection, faulty blower motor switch, faulty blower motor.
Window = everal possibilities; faulty window switch, faulty window lift motor fuse, faulty window lift motor, faulty window regulator. First step - check the fuses. Then check the window switch (swap with the passenger side window switch, or run a jumper wire to bypass). Remove the door panel to gain access to the window motor and window regulator - check for binding at the regulator. Check the window motor for operation.
