12/9/2012 BillSounds like a rack and pinion problem. First immediately check your Power Steering fluid level, if low this could be the problem, also if low you have a leak and need to find it.

Just wondering if Chevy s-10 coil over springs will work for an Isuzu Hombre. However I am wondering if the springs from a 1998 Chevy S-10 will work.-
4/3/2012 JimmThey just might. Best way to check is to compare the part numbers. Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.RockAuto.com or www.autopartswarehouse.com for the replacement parts and part comparisons.
4/3/2012 Jerry85Being as the Hombre is one of the rarest pick ups in the US. After looking on every parts site I could think of. None carry anything but lowering springs. I can not find the OEM springs anywhere. Can't even find a parts number.

What shock do I need?guitarman - 2000 Isuzu Amigo - Steering & Suspension - 3/3/2012It is the ironman model. No control for shocks However, there is a nipple for electronic control but no wires going to them.

11/14/2011 yboy82Did you already diagnose your vehicle with a scan tool/ code reader? It is possible that the sensor in you shock might be loose or faulty. If you have time navigate this thread http://isuzuforums.com/forum/showthread.php it might give you more idea about the ISC.

10/30/2011 CVOUnbalanced wheels will cause the steering to shake at certain speeds. Re-balanced the wheels.
