The timing belt and component kit - consisting of the belt, tensioner, hydraulic tensioner, idler, and water pump - should be replaced every 60k miles or so - due to mileage and not how the miles were accumulated.

Check the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse or www.rockauto.com for the replacement parts. For example, they (RockAuto) list the timing kit from around $140.00 for your vehicle; Gates part # TCKWP303 - as but one example.

Shop around to find a repair shop in your area that can replace the timing kit - use the 'Find-A-Shop' and the 'Estimate Cost' features on the AutoMD website.

thanks for the reply Jim, My confusion is the ISUZU OWNERS MANUAL..it says 70,000 miles EXTREME DUTY or 100,000 miles Normal Driving it does not mention how many years it should go So as you also said time not a factoras far as the Interval between Changes goes.
SO far However almost every single reply including the Owners Manual has been 100,000 miles on later model Rodeos2001 thru 2004 and 60,000 on Early Rodeos thru 1998..SO WHATS THE TRUE MEASURE THEN?

      TIMING BELT REPLACEMENT SCHEDULE
      2002 Isuzu Truck Rodeo 2WD 3.2L MFI DOHC 6cyl
      The Timing Belt Replacement Schedule
It is recommended to replace every 100,000 miles, for severe service replace at 75,000 miles

Follow Jimm to the letter, do not take any risk or more $$$$ will go for the new engine.

Since the engine is an interference engine, and severe damage will occur with timing belt sudden failure - I'd lean towards the 70k mileage interval as extreme duty.
Remember that both; time, but more importantly -and the miles driven - are more important factors than how the miles have been accumulated; that is whether 'easy' or 'hard'. The timing belt itself does not care.

What are some towing necessities i will need before my trip?
i want to travel with my trailer for a long distance trip. what are some necessities i must not forget?

You must make sure to have a secure tow hitch. to make sure not to strain it during the trip, make sure to find out the Gross Trailer Weight which is the weight of the trailer, together with all that it is carrying. You must also know the tongue weight. this is the weight behind the rear axle of the towing vehicle. Once you know these, then you can ensure yourself of a safe journey.

Can I use my Isuzu to tow up a hill with only tow hooks?

Yes it is possible to use your Isuzu but you must make sure your tow hooks are strong enough to handle the weight. As long as what you are towing is not too heavy for your truck or even heavier as it can be very dangerous.

      Deborah,
Yes. The bearings are adjustable. In fact, any bearings on your vehicle are adjustable. Although many might be tight at first, you can take your vehicle to a mechanic and let him do it for you. They have to adjustable for the purpose of wheel alignment and balancing.

Why is my car overheating and leaking water
Car runs hot and leaks from the back firewall

Several possibilities; coolant mixture is incorrect (not at recommended 50/50 water and anti-freeze), faulty thermostat, faulty / clogged radiator hoses, faulty water pump, clogged / restricted cooling passages in the engine, fan belt stretched or slipping.
