Most likely the problem is due to a faulty heater blend door actuator - located bhind the glove compartment.

The parts are readily available from these many on-line sources, www.partsgeek.com, www.rockauto.com, www.discountautoparts.com, www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.jcwhitney.com - to list only a few possibilities.

For example, they (RockAuto) lists the heater blend door actuator from around $53.00 for your vehicle.

    How to change headlight bulb?
    bulb has blown

Turn off your Santa Fe's engine and turn the headlamp switch to "OFF." Open the hood using the primary and auxiliary hood release latches.

Detach the headlamp assembly mounting bolts using a socket wrench. Place the bolts in your pocket or a small bag for safekeeping.

Disconnect the electrical wiring from the back of the headlamp assembly.

Remove the plastic bulb cover by turning it counterclockwise.

Remove the round screw off protector and reach in to release the clip. The old can be removed. Be sure to correctly align the pin on the new bulb that needs to go into the guide hole - so the bulb is aimed correctly.

Why does my car make the seatbelt chime noise whenever I brake
Car has 68,000 miles. The last couple days (it's been cold), my car has begun making the seatbelt and door ajar "chime" noise when I brake. The longer I drive, the more frequently it occurs, until it starts happening whenever I turn the steering wheel.

I *suspect* that you have a bad door switch. This is the switch that opens and closes the interior light circuit when the door is open. When you apply the brake the body and chassis flex because of the sudden load from slowing down and the door switch contacts actually move.

Remove the pass side front door switch and check for continuity between the terminals and replace if continuity remains with button depressed.

Car phob won't open doors, battery is good
Shop says door switches are good so it must be the module? What is this and is it expensive to repair? When you hit the phob it sounds like the door unlocks but it doesn't

Get the part yourself at a salvage yard and install it yourself or remove the seat belt ass'y and work on it to get it *unjammed*. Sometimes just removing the retractor and turning it upside down gets it unjammed. You want to keep the price down then you have to get involved beyond just sayin the price they want is too high. Locate used parts suppliers online and buy a seat belt from cheapest post for $50 plus shipping, like that....Of course the dealer will want like $300 or more for parts new, thats nuts.

Check the tail lamp relay, it might still engage and the contact points still connected.

Right side turn signal front and back will stay on after lever is returned to original position.
after awhile, it will go off by itself.

You have a faulty Body Control Module. Probability here is greater than 99%.

    Auto door locks quit working
Pressing lock/unlock button does not lock nor unlock all doors. Pressing lock/unlock for each door works on only that door.

*probably* has a bad driver door switch. You could get access to the switch and see if the switch is sending out a voltage when pressed.

Thanks. That's what I thought after doing some investigation but was hoping for a fuse or relay fix.

Why does my digital clock on my dashboard click when I turn my headlights on?
I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra that I recently bought used. It's my first car so I wanted something that I can work on and not worry too much about payments etc... Anyway I've noticed that when I turn on the headlights at all the digital clock on the dashboard begins ...

Fabulous video, very good. I still need more info. Try to determine the origin of the click. See if you can actually feel the vibration of the click. The clock itself is solid state and does not have a relay within it that would make this noise. I need to know where the click is originating, if not the actual component but at least where you feel the click from when you move your hands over all things. I do not believe you will easily just "unplug" just the clock. It may be possible but i would have to remove the cluster and examine the connections back there at the clock itself. The clock may be integral with the cluster and might not be able to be disconnected without causing an interruption to the rest of the cluster, not sure.

I solved this problem without actually trying to. I was installing a radio since the car didn't have one and found the 12v Battery line wasn't outputting 12v, so I pulled up the wiring diagram out of a Haynes book and found that line connected to the Burglar Alarm fuse in the engine compartment. I pulled it and found it was blown replaced it and now all works perfectly ^_^
