Turn signal does not stop on it"s own after completing the turn?Theresa - 1996 Honda Civic - Steering & Suspension - 2/10/2012-
2/8/2012 Spoon SportsIn the steering column there is a plate that is called a turn signal canceler that may be broken or the turn signal switch itself is broken, either way you will need to have someone repair it for you because it is very complicated.
Does it still continue even you manually cancel it?
2/8/2012 TheresaI can manually cancel it. My son, who drives this car more often than I, said he noticed that the sterring wheel itself is responding quicker, or smoother? this happened at the same time as the turn signal stopped. does this make sense? -

To tell you honestly i dont find any logic behind it, but if that happened to me, ill be more than happy to keep it that way.

What is the funtion of a Ball Joint?mickierock - 2002 Honda Accord - Steering & Suspension - 1/25/2012-
1/25/2012 Spoon SportsThe same way cartilages in your bone works, prevents metal to metal contact between 2 metal pieces, it also make it movements possible without sacrificing wear or damage to parts, the same way a tierod end connects with a steering knuckle.
Tie rod ends move left and right primarily and steering knuckles moves verttically and laterally, without a balljoint everything will just be amiss.
