Remove the new radio, reverse and then repair the wiring damage to resolve the issues. Then, have a new stereo or radio professionally installed to avoid this problem in the future.

Antifreeze was spraying out of my engine the other day, wondering what my best option is/what may be the cause?
So I came home from the gym to smoke coming out of my engine, when I popped the hood there was a liquid spraying out from the engine. At the time I didn't get a good look at it, but upon looking closer today, there is a small pool of antifreeze in places on the ...

Possible leak points include: hoses, the radiator, heater core, water pump, thermostat housing, head gasket, freeze plugs, coolant reservoir tank, automatic transmission oil cooler, cylinder head(s) and engine block.

With the engine and cooling system cold - make a careful visual inspection of the entire cooling system, and then PRESSURE TEST the cooling system and radiator cap. A pressure test will reveal internal leaks such as seepage past the head gasket as well as cracks in the head or block. A good system should hold 12 to 15 psi for 15 minutes or more with no loss in pressure. If it leaks pressure, there is an internal coolant leak (most likely a bad head gasket but possibly also a cracked cylinder or engine block).

It is important to pressure test the radiator cap, too, because a weak cap (or one with too low a pressure rating ).

Perform a cooling system / radiator pressure test when the engine is " COLD" - as a first step to locate the leak.
Obtain a loaner tool / free radiator pressure tester from the local auto parts stores such as Autozone, O'Reilly, NAPA, Advance Auto, or PepBoys. Follow their instructions and pump it to an adequate air pressure 12 -15 psi or up to the pressure rating listed on the radiator or reservoir cap. Observe the cooling system and components listed (above) for any leaks and perform the repair.
Note: do not over pressurize beyond the pressure allowed by the radiator cap, then test the radiator cap as well.

When I start the car it wants to die almost immediately. the exhaust has an excessive amount of white smoke coming out.
Over 200,000 miles. This mostly happens when first driving the car and after driving a minute stops smoking. once RPM's get down low however acts as if it wants to die. Car was over heating but found hole in a hose and replaced hose and now is not over heating. ...

Does the starter motor crank ok? If so, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, check fuel pressure. Also, check for applicable trouble codes.

Check the main fuel injection pump relay and replace it as necessary, Honda common problem.
In the event, if the problem still persists :
Have an assistant to turn on the ignition switch, while you listen to the fuel pump running for 2 seconds from the uncap fuel tank filler. No noise, take the next step.
Try giving the bottom of the fuel tank a few whacks with a flat piece of wood or a rubber mallet while another tries to start the engine. You have a 50/50 shot at getting the pump going again and the vehicle starting. if it starts as a result of the whack then it confirms the bad fuel pump.

Note: Spray some aerosol starting fluid into the throttle (CAUTION: Starting Fluid is Extremely Flammable!). Then crank the engine. If the engine starts, you do NOT have an ignition problem

What is causing my car to feel hot and to smell like burning rubber?
My car has 78,000 miles on it. I've had it since January and have put about 5,000 of those miles on it myself. Recently my car has begun to feel hot after driving it for a while. Not the overheating kind of hot. There is plenty of fluid in the radiator and I have no ...
