First step - have the check engine light or stored fault codes scanned - for free - at any local auto parts store; Advance Auto, Auto Zone, NAPA. Then, post a reply as 'add answer' with the specific fault code for more assistance.

Possible Causes of Engine Hesitation or Stumble:

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this)
      Dirty air filter (change filter)
Dirty / clogged fuel filter (change filter)
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
      Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

      Dirty or worn spark plugs
      Bad plug wires
      Weak ignition coil
      Wet plug wires

having a problem with my vehicle
battery lite flashed once while driving on the highway accelerating and then my engine light came on car started to idle and run terribly I noticed that my tachometer wasn't working my temperature gauge wasn't working and the green immobilizer key was flashing on the dash
I turn the car off for a few minutes figured to clear the problem however when I start it up my tachometer still wasn't working temperature gauge wasn't working and the green key was flashing on the dashboard everything else worked and had power
I drove the car in gear d2 because it was easier to drive that way since Gears didn't seem to be changing well
I have done a lot a reading on this and noticed most people talk about the alternator possible causing problem and a fried ecu
I did bring the car to a mechanic who tested the alternator and the battery which seems to be fine however we hooked up the computer to find out what code was there and there was no communication with

This video does not pass across any information. However, why don't you have you engine checked. The engine is a very important part of an auto machine and it should function at all times. http://4wheelonline.com/.../...ycle_Tires.169578

This could be a warning. Your engine must be faulty. I advice that you consult the manufacturers of your bike for it to be professionally inspected. If you ever consider replacing your engine visit http://4wheelonline.com/VTwin/

that tranny has shift selinoids on it ..and went that lite blinks it wont let the tranny shift to the proper gear.. in which will make the light blink.. so unless ur a diy you will need to take it to a shop.. I went through it with my honda but i own a shop so i repaired it myself.. call ur local auto parts store and ask them for the price for the shift selinoids for your car.. very expensive.. i also but honda's 717-798-5992

if you ran it hot before changing the rad you may have blown a head gasket.. that would cause it to smoke. If so you should be able to smell the anti freeze. and the car should over heat quickly within 20 min if not right away..If thats the case get rid of it . all in all you may have warped the head which you would have to replace the motor..

Please be clear about what "does not want to start" means exactly. The starter s functioning or not? Or should I understand this as you turn the key and nothing happens, no engine rotation, no starter function? Or, you mean that the engine cranks over but does not start, as though you ran out of fuel? I am going to assume you mean the second scenario. That being the case I would advise you to read fault codes with a cheap little code reader first. If no codes are present then replace the main relay. Get it at the Honda parts dept, they will know exactly what you mean and they have it in stock. Maybe $50, maybe little more. Then have some local guy replace it for you and see if the hard start problem is gone.

    How to repair water pump
    internal or external?

    • Jimm
      2/6/2013 Jimm
The water pump is replaced when leaking or worn, not repaired. Try the 'How-To-Guides' feature on the AutoMD website for the specific steps to replace the water pump.
Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.partsgeek.com and www.rockauto.com for the replacement parts. For example, they (RockAuto) list the water pump from around $22.00 for your vehicle.

i have roughly 153,000 miles on my car i have checked the oil and have put premium gas and a gas additive i have also put in an oil additive it happens all the time when i accelerate around 3 or 4 grand it will rattle like a severe valve rattle it does whether ...

Even with the check engine light off you still have to plug in a code reader and confirm that there are no codes stored. This would be my first step after listening and I am doing car repairs for 36 years about. Just sayin'. Could this be caused by a loose heat shield on the exhaust system? Especially if it happens at the same rpm each time.
