What would cause a ABS light to come on and make that brakes not to work completely???
My ABS light keeps coming on and when I put my foot on my brakes the pads don't always grab completely so the car doesn't stop as fast. Had the brake lines done in November and the pads and rotors done in beginning of May.

Several possibilities; low brake fluid level, leaking brake fluid, air in the brake fluid or in the system.

Yes, it will need some adjustments.

Note: Stoplight switch directs current to the stop lights, cruise control, and shift interlock to turn them on or off.

How often should I replace my brake pads and calipers? My steering tends to steer to the right.
I've had my tires replaced & balanced and an all wheel alignment. I do know my rear drivers side brake pads seemed rusted and didn't look like they would flow. I had to actually wedge my brake pads out and then replaced them but still I tight fit.

Why does the Yukon hesitate when I step on the gas?
I'm test driving a used Denali XL which I have the chance to purchase for a very good price. However, any time I attempt to accelerate from a complete stop it feels like the vehicle break engages and pulsates for about 5 seconds or so before I can go anywhere. ...

Possible Causes of Engine Hesitation or Stumble:

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
      Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

      Dirty or worn spark plugs
      Bad plug wires
      Weak ignition coil
      Wet plug wires

You probably have air trapped in caliper piston cylinders and you need to bleed them.
      3/26/2012 Fidel Flores
I bled the brakes and they are still getting stuck.

I have been doing brake jobs for many many years and have done lots of rear brake jobs on GM trucks. The one thing you did not mention that has to be mentioned is whether the caliper slides are moving freely. I always see that these pins, at least one on each side becomes frozen and causes the pads to drag. If you have no issue with these sliders and they move freely, then replace both rear calipers. But, I will tell you that if the pistons move back in freely with a c-clamp and the dust boot has no tears, then the caliper is good.
      3/26/2012 Fidel Flores
Calipers move freely on slides, once I push the piston back, they slide freely on pins. any other suggestions, what puzzles me the most that both calipers are getting stuck at the same time

I have never seen this happen in all my years to both rear calipers. Is it possible that maybe the parking brake cable is sticking and causing the parking brake shoes to drag? This seems kind of odd that I never saw this happen which really makes me think that the calipers really are not the cause. I guess all you can do at this point ois replace the calipers and see what happens. The master would not do this as it would affect the front brakes first. Both rear calipers cannot fail at the same time. What happens if while it is on jack stands and the calipers are stuck as you say, if you open the caliper bleed screw, does the caliper release?
      3/26/2012 Fidel Flores
I opened the bleed screw and fluid leaks out, but calipers will not realease.

We are having the same problem with the front brakes on a 1994 GMC 1500. The passenger front caliper kept locking up and the wheel was getting very hot. So we replaced both pads, discs, rotors and calipers. The left front is still getting stuck. We have bled the brakes twice and are still having problems. Anybody have any other ideas. Thanks

Replace the brake hoses in the front.

It is possible that there's a loose connection in your lightning system. The light switch operation and should be check. Also check for loose/damaged or corroded wires and electrical terminals, and repair as necessary.

There is something called "continuity" in electricity. If one of your light is shorting out or burned out chances are you are going to have a problem. it shouldnt be hard to replace the bulbs.
