What do I need to do to fix this door?barry&janet - 1995 Geo Tracker - Body & Interior - 10/8/2011Stupid me!!!! The drivers side door was bent open too far and now I cannot close the door. It now rubs against the fender (really badly!!! the fender has dents from trying to close the door) and it will not latch. Do I need to replace the door and it's hinges?-
10/8/2011 Spoon SportsHmmmm...not really, here in my area, we have people who can work around those dents instead of replacing them.
Unfortunately, most of the shops today would rather have you replace them, the challenge here is looking for that body shop.

I do not have power windows in my Tracker and the window won't roll down. IAnnie77s - 1994 Geo Tracker - Body & Interior - 9/22/2011I have had to take the crank off so no one will try and roll it down. Every place I have looked has parts for the power windows. Where do I find parts for the manual windows?

Wea re looking for the cap that holds the window in place We have the interior piece that it screws onto, but notcc - 1993 Geo Storm - Body & Interior - 7/2/2011its round and black and connects to a part that holds the window in place.

6/28/2011 JimmTry the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.RockAuto.com or www.autopartswarehouse.com. There are also the many salvage auto parts sources for the door skins / door panels. Try this website; www.findapartnow.com, or www.uneedapart.com as other potential sources.

6/29/2011 Bonnie HaleWe have tried scrap yards but the doors we are finding in them are in the same shape as the ones we have, we were hoping that someone made an after market skin.

Where can I find the latch that attaches the header to the windshield on the soft tops?marvinanddiane - 1991 Geo Tracker - Body & Interior - 6/28/2011The little red tabs on the latches that hold down the front of my soft top or removable hard top breaks or snaps off very easily, especially in the cooler weather. 3/23/2011 JasonSounds like a wiring or connector problem. You'll have to back probe the circuit from the bulb socket.

3/20/2011 Team AssociatedCheck your fuse box first, if it's not labeled, pull the fuses one at a time and check them. Are you sure the lighter is burned out in the socket?? A lot of times the element goes bad.

3/13/2011 yboy82Did you already check the battery voltage at your headlight electrical connector? If battery voltage is present you should replace your headlight bulb. If you there is no battery voltage check the condition of the wires/connection of your headlight for any loose or disconnected wires/connections.

1/31/2011 BenderWow, my answer would be a lot, actually if i heard the actual noise i can help you pinpoint it. But since i cant here are the possiblities
1. Weak engine mounts
2. Loose ball joints
3. It can be your suspension is not balanced thus when running it vibrates which results to noise
4. It can be faulty shocks
I read in popular mechanics that a simple wheel balance will cure most vibrations. Now this is by far the cheapest fix so i suggest you do that first...
1/31/2011 WeaveThank you for the tips. The front bumper and the hood is making the loud vibration noise when car is running. Sometimes it's worse than others. The weak engine mounts that you mentioned also sounds like a good thing to check. Thanks again, from weave -
1/31/2011 WeaveMy winshield wipers do not work, the fuse is good. Does this car have an inline fuse or cirquit breaker. If it does I can check these if I can locate them, if not I can check the switch or the wiper motor

2/1/2011 BenderYour circuit breaker is either in the engine compartment fuse box or the fuse box located at the driver's left foot area. Usually this requires you to pull it out and clean it. Sorry if that wasnt so informative but at least you know what to do and try when you see it :) Good luck

12/16/2010 Bobbyyou'll just need to take out the old bulb and match it up thats the easiest way. usually those plate bulb covers pop off with a screw driver and then just pull or twist out bulb
