My car had a blown the head gasket. Removed, repaired and put the car back together. Engine runs well without leaks
good oil pressure. However a lot of gray smoke comes out from the exhaust. I have run the car for 10 minutes only. Should I hope it will go away or there is something wrong?

Repeat question. It may be related to moisture inside the engine that must be burned off, or if continual smoke is noted - then it may be related to an improper head gasket sealing, warped head or engine block. Check the cylinder compression to see if there is any signs of leakdown / improper seal in one of the cylinders.

has it been pinging prior to this issue? Also does this motor still have points in the Distributor? There is a very likely possibility that you may have a Warped, bent, or burnt Valve. If timing is correct, and your have made a positive check of everything else. Then the only other solution is the fire is getting out of the hole. If you have a compression tester, I would run a compression check on all the holes and see if there is one that is low or is not holding compression. This will be your problem hole.

You have to purchase the appropriate manual that will have vacuum diagrams in it. We have no diagrams here to post. This vehicle is a bit dated and unique. This hose gets attached to either ported vacuum or constant vacuum. I do not know which because many different cars have used both types.
