Several possibilities; warped disc brake rotors, faulty / loose wheel bearings, faulty front suspension bushings.
Check the many different on-line auto parts sources; such as - www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.partsgeek.com and www.rockauto.com for the replacement parts. For example, they (RockAuto) lists the front disc rotors from around $18.00 each for your vehicle.

Changed ABS speed sensor. Since my brakes pulse like ABS is on.
In addition, clicking noise heard when brake pedal is depressed and vehicle is stopped. Also a pulse is felt in the brake pedal when pedal is depressed and vehicle is stopped. This goes away after about 10-15 seconds

After I picked up my holiday trailer I've had for 3 years now I drove approx. 10 miles and rear tires smoking, why?
The smoke was coming out behind my rear tires. I've towed my trailer alot and this has never happened. Now my rear smells like burnt rubber, not rubber but like it. Help me in why or what is wrong with my truck!

Check the brakes. Your emergency brake isn't on? Other than brakes and wheel bearings, I can't think of anything else. Crawl under there and look around. Your talking about the truck and not the trailer?
      jdl
      4/28/2012 Horvey
Yes the truck. And the emergency brake isn't on as I have never used it to date. You think smoke is coming from the brakes? What part of the brakes do you think it is? The caliper/ or pads or both? More info please. Thanks so far thou!

I've seen people drive their vehicle with e-brake partially on, several miles. Those rear brakes were smoking like crazy. I can't see much from here. Park the vehicle on level ground, block the front tires, in front of tire and back, so it can't roll. Safely raise and support rear of vehicle, tranny in neutral, engine off, can you turn the tires by hand? Do you feel or hear anything? As far as safely raising and supporting the vehicle, safety is your responsibility.

A stuck caliper causes smoking of the brakes. When they get stuck they lock the brake intro place. When locked, lots of friction is caused as you drive causing smoking. The caliper’s movement is usually hindered by dirt or corrosion. A stuck cylinder also causes smoking. The stuck cylinder will force the brake shoe to press continuously onto the drum even if you release the brakes. Another cause could be debris stuck on your brake system. This could cause smoking of the brakes.

How would I go about Changing brake line
    Leak in it

    • Jimm
      2/16/2013 Jimm
Reference the 'How-To-Guides' feature on the AutoMD website for the specific steps to change the flexible brake hoses and rigid brake lines. The rigid brake line is usually available as bulk line in different lengths with the fittings attached and often pre-bent for the best fit when reinstalling.
Check the many different on-line auto parts sources; such as - www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.partsgeek.com and www.rockauto.com for the replacement parts. For example, they (RockAuto) list the flexible brake line from around $6.00 for your vehicle. Be sure to replace in pairs due to mileage / age / wear considerations. For example, if the the left front hose is leaking, then replace both the left and right front flexible brake hoses at the same time - cheap insurance for safetys' sake.

Why do the lights for brake and abs stay on
mileage is:170045. The warning lights for brake and abs both came on and stayed on. I was hauling hay and turned on the tow/haul when they came on. The truck doesn't drive any differently. Is this something I need to fix right away?

Why does my right front disc brake lock up?
My right front brake locks up and the vehicle can't be driven until the brake cools down, but as soon as I use the brakes again it locks up again.

You either have to replace the front calipers or the front brake hoses or in most cases both. The hose can go bad where an internal restriction in the hose causes it to act like a check valve, allowing pressure to flow toward the caliper but when the pedal is released the pressure is retained by the no good hose until it cools down. Most mechanics while diagnosing this would opt to replace both hoses and both calipers and pads, because the pads on the side that is locking up are usually damaged by the excessive heat that they experienced and the pad material becomes hardened and has poor performance if reused.

i am very interested in your brake problem .i had the same problem with my dodge ram 2500 and i replaced the master cyl calipers hoses and had the rotors resurfaced .but the calipers are still squeezing the rotors too tight i suspect the combination valve or maybe the r.w .a.l . valve

Add brake fluid to the master cylinder reservoir. there is a float / height sensor in there and if it is lower than the minimum line the light will go on and off at different times depending on outside temperature and how you drive. Check it out.
