9/23/2013 bear.1216If you plan to do this work you should invest in a repair manual for the vehicle. Most auto parts stores sell them for around $20. The manual will have complete instructions with pictures and diagrams. It is well worth the investment for any vehicle or home mechanic. Changing the heater core is very labor intensive and physically demanding. It requires working on the floor of vehicle for long hours. You should consider having it fixed at a garage if you can afford it. Replacing the heater core is the most awful job on any vehicle you will not enjoy it.
