10/25/2012 ande4044The front bumper is one unit. It is your choice if you would like to replace it or not. They are expensive over 100 dollars, and usually are not colored. the bumper covers are less expensive than a new bumper. But again it would be your choice.

Why won't the fob or the key unlock a door when the key is in the transmission and locked in the car?Deb - 2008 Dodge Avenger - Body & Interior - 10/25/2012One set of keys were locked in thwe transmission. The car was off and the 2nd set key or fob would not unlock the doors

10/25/2012 ande4044It is a security precaution. the keys operate at the same frequency. So the car is sensing the key is already in the vehicle. When exiting the car from the driver side it should unlock all the doors so you don't lock them in the car.

Ignition Lock Cylinder
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove bezel ignition switch ring.
Pull center console bezel loose from instrument panel.
Insert ignition key and turn to the -ON- position.
Depress the locking tab on the ignition switch housing.
Pull the key cylinder from the ignition switch housing.
To install:
Install key in lock cylinder. Turn key to -ON- position (retaining tab on lock cylinder can be depressed)
The shaft at the end of the lock cylinder aligns with the socket in the end of the housing. To align the socket with the lock cylinder, ensure the socket is in the -ON- position.
Align the lock cylinder with the grooves in the housing. Slide the lock cylinder into the housing until the tab sticks through the opening in the housing.
Turn key to Off position and remove key.
Install center console bezel to instrument panel.
Install bezel ignition switch ring.
Connect the negative battery cable.

10/19/2012 HouseCallAutoIf the air blows out but there is no response to temperature change on the dial then the likely cause is a failed rear blend door actuator that is attached to the rear HVAC housing. Square box thing with an electrical connector, maybe 4 inches by 4 inches by a half inch thick. You can remove the screws that secure it and move the blend door manually and you should get heat and that will confirm the bad actuator back there.

10/18/2012 CVOThe fuel level sending wasn't working and it was the cause of the low fuel light on as well as the fuel gauge doesn't showing the right amount of fuel in tank.
The fuel gauge sending unit (fuel level sensor) and float assembly is located on the side of fuel pump module. The fuel pump module is located inside of fuel tank. Refer to the Fuel Pump Module procedure in the Fuel System Section.

10/12/2012 felplaycheck fuse 28 10A and 2 10A... check battery voltage at the instrument cluster PNK wire and RED/WHT ..
BLK/LT GRN is ground.. Also get the codes, post them here for more info..
