Your cause is most likely a bad Driver Door Ajar Switch. You need to use a smarter tech to diagnose your vehicle. Your Caravan has an option that if enabled causes your doors to lock after the vehicle reaches a few miles per hour. If there is a door opened and then closed (which a faulty door ajar switch would imitate) while the vehicle is in motion the computer will relock the doors. This would appear as the door locks cycling and the interior lamps cycling as well.

I also think that if the door-lock catch needs adjusting the door maybe shaking while driving and triggering the switch, which would cause the same symptoms as if the switch was bad.

Maybe the relay is bad if you by-passed it and the horn worked.Or check for faulty connections on the relay.

Windshield, windows ? Have an assistant or you to stay inside the car while it is washing. detect it and repair the leaks.

Is it only behind the driver's seat and not infront? I had a new car once and it was leaking when the rain came through the bulk-head somewhere under the dash.Never did find out for sure after taking back to the dealer 5 times I just traded it in.Some times a leak will develop if the metal rusts away where the water passes through the area under the wipers or the windshield rubber is bad.If it's only in the back thats a tricky one, but you could check the rubber seal around the rear door.

Did the regulator also include a motor because it sounds like that is what was needed.

Check the door actuators under the dash see if they are functioning.I have a 2001 Dodge Ram and my dash control failed some years ago.The doors and the hotwater valve are controlled by air running through little tubes which operate the actuators.Look behind the glove-box and see if any push-rods have some how become disconnected.The movement of the vehicle would cause it to move from hot to cold on its own.Check the a/c ground for loosness in case it's cutting off and loose wires on the a/c cut off switches as well .
