Could be a lot of different things. Have you plugged in a scanner to check for codes??? I would start there, if no codes than it could be something simple as a fuel filter getting gummed up.

Where is the water pump located?
May need to replace the pump?

The water pump is behind the timing belt cover and is driven by the timing belt. If you never did a timing belt before then this is not a DIY job. This is about a 3 hour job for an experienced mechanic.

My car Daewoo nubira2 jets frequently even when on the highway. It slows down completely without stepping on the brakes
When it happens and you step on the accelerator it doesn't move. What could be the problem? I have changed the spark plugs, fuel pump, strainer and purged the engine but I still experience it.

If you have never used a code reader I advise (mandatory) you buy one from amazon.com for $20 so you can get it in 3 days and use it to read fault codes in your cars computer memory. Have to know the codes before this can be diagnosed. Post the code you find here when you update the post. The code reader I am referring to is here >> http://www.amazon.com/.../ref=sr_1_1

Engine over revs to 2500 - 3000 rpm when at idle what is wrong

Usually, the over-revving problem is due to a faulty idle air control (IAC) valve. Check the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse or www.rockauto.com for the replacement parts. For example, they (RockAuto) list the IAC from around $44.00 for your vehicle.

Where is the knock sensor located under the hood
My car would hesitate after stopping at a light. The car would start off slow before jumping into full speed then it would take off like a jet.

The knock sensor is located on the rear of the engine block - three bolts to remove. Hard to reach but doable with patience.
Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.rockauto.com, www.partsgeek.com - to list only three. They (RockAuto) list the replacement knock (detonation) sensor from around $48.00 for your vehicle.

Here are the possible causes of the hesitation and stumbling. As a first step - have the check engine light or stored fault codes scanned - for free - at any local auto parts store; Advance Auto, Auto Zone, NAPA. Then, post a reply as 'add answer' for more assistance.

Possible Causes of Engine Hesitation or Stumble:

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this)
      Dirty air filter (change filter)
Dirty / clogged fuel filter (change filter)
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
      Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

      Dirty or worn spark plugs
      Bad plug wires
      Weak ignition coil
      Wet plug wires

Thank you Jimm so much! but I did go to Auto Zone and the guy did a dianostic for the car, The reading came back with a bad knock sensor and the thermastat going bad also. Everybody kept saying that the knock sensor is what's causing the car to hesitate then take off like a jet.

This sounds like a mechanical engine failure and the fix is going to be another engine.

Oil light comes on when when engine is warm & when I slow down or stop. Goes off when I accelerate.
I have just put in a new oil sending unit but that didn't solve the problem. Oil level shows full. Engine has 130,000 miles

Probably you will live with this as the fix will be to replace the engine bearings most likely. There is excessive clearance between the rod or main bearings. If the light always goes out when you give gas, this is a condition that can remain unchanged for a long time.
