If you want it to be exactly as the original one, buy it from the dealer but it will cost much more money. Dorman products are good mostly, but sometimes I too have a problem with a Dorman piece.

What is wrong when odometer reading or fuel status will not show on instrument cluster nor mini computer?
The only thing that shows a reading on the cluster panel is the battery status. The cluster lights up, but does not show mileage, odometer, or fuel status

Try this, do a powertrain control module reset by disconnecting both battery terminals for half an hour and rubbing each other terminals for a few minutes prior for the re-installation. It might restore the instrument clusters. That trick worked on my 92 Dodge Caravan 3.0. Hope this helps.
Note: if that doesn't worked, an instrument clusters or the powertrain control module might involve.

Heater works intermittent, starts with a few 'tap, tap, taps'. Temp. gauge does not work for 30+ mins., then some heat.
Auto has 141,000 miles. The heater has not worked this winter. It appears if engine has run 30 minutes or more and is turned off, then on - seems to help. The Check Engine light is constant 24/7. I had a diagnostic test at parts retailer which indicated the ...

Insufficient coolant , trapped air in the cooling system might not have enough coolant to full fill the heater core. Check the radiator coolant level and top it off as needed.

Some cooling systems have air bleed valves built into the system to aid in the removal of air pockets. Advice: For many cooling systems, the method of removing air pockets is to start the engine and allow it to run with the radiator cap off or loose until all the air escapes from the neck of the radiator. For some systems this method is not sufficient, and the manufacturer has installed air bleed valves usually near or on the thermostat housing.

If these tips had been followed and the heater is still not working, the blend door actuator may get involved. It is a servo responsible for controlling the mix of warm air from the heater core and cool air from the A/C and outside. If it malfunctions, your climate control system may not respond properly when you change the temperature on the climate control system.

Both the manual and the automatic systems use this servo to control the blend door. If your ATC system fails to automatically change temp, this is also an indicator that the servo has failed.
