The wiper works but the washers do not. I put fluid in the tank and nothing happens when I hit the washer lever?
Do I need a new pump?

Have an assistant to trigger the washer, use a digital voltmeter to test the wiring to the pump and see if there is a 12 volts. If there is 12 volts, then the pump is bad.

Usually with idle issues, you start by checking for a leak of some kind, fuel--egr--vacuum. You can also clean the throttle body and idle air system.

After it stalls, if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure, also check for injector pulse.

How can i know if the heater core is PLUGGED?
I'm getting cool air from heater...no heater core leaks...fan, belts, radiator fluid, thermostat, heat detector are all good..some new. thankyou

See this Fig. Fig. 3 Loosen the clamps retaining the hoses to the heater core tubes.

      From this link http://www.autozone.com/.../...rGuideContent.jsp

There are two hoses run from the engine to the firewall. The heater core inlet and the outlet hoses. Now if you turn on the heater for a while ( at the temperature of the engine ) and shut off the engine, if the heater core outlet hose is cold, then it is plugged.

Note:for safety, cover yourself with thick sleeve clothes to avoid the burns.

What would cause the running lights and dash indicator lights to stay on after the truck is turned off.
I just had brake lines replaced yesterday, came home and parked it until it got dark enough to see that the lights were still on... No previous problems...

Front and rear tire pressure ?

Check the sidewall of the tires - lists the maximum load carrying capacity at the maximum tire pressure. Use this maximum as the upper limit - when the tires are cold - to set the air pressure. The recommended tire pressure is given on the sticker on the door jamb, and in the vehicle owners manual.

How can I get papertowel out of fuel tank?
paper towel was accidently lodged down into gas tank and coat hanger couldn't get it out. it will not take any gas now

Is it the fill pipe that is clogged? Look under the vehicle at the fill pipe, can you take anything loose, to make sure the fill pipe isn't clogged? The gas level in the tank has to be lower than the fill pipe, if you take anything loose. You also have to be careful of fire and sparks around gas fumes.

As far as checking the gas tank, there may be an access panel in your trunk? You'll have to look and see, you may have to remove carpet. Then remove fuel pump, take a look in the gas tank. Make sure no pressure in fuel lines before taking anything loose.

Another thought would be to check your evap system, make sure it isn't clogged.

Just remember, no fire, no sparks, no pilot lights, no nothing around gas fumes.

Why wont fuel tank allow any gas to be put in after paper was lodged down into gas tank?
coat hanger attempt to dislodge paper may have broke metal flap causing it to go down into neck

I addition to the paper, there maybe partial blockage with the fuel door flap. The best fix is to lower the fuel tank, remove the filler tube to clean out.
