Why is my temperature gauge so unstable and affecting the cooling stability of my A/C each time the temp gauge drops.
For sometime now, my temperature gauge either would not just read or rise at all while the car steams, or while driving the car, And when this happens, my A/C does not get chilled at all, it just blows air. Then, just suddenly while driving, the temperature gauge ...

Plug in a code reader and see what fault codes are stored. You have not mentioned anything that was done in an attempt to find the cause. Check coolant level and state that it is full or not or whether you added any and how much did you add? What did you mean when you said the car "steams" ? Are you saying that it is overheating an d you see steam from where?

Steam means leaving the car engine on. Water coolant level is ok. It got dried up recently and i had it refilled. When i had a code reader pluged, it only read that the RPM has been unstable. And it gave history of the number of times the RPM has been unstable.

The gas tank has three quarters of a tank in it but the gas gage is on empty and the low fuel light comes on.

Replace the fuel level sending unit. This will require dropping (lowering) the fuel tank to access the fuel sending unit on top of the tank. This not a difficult task - will require a standard floor jack and some wood for support.

Reference the AutoMD website and the list of 'How-To-Guides' for the specific steps to replace the fuel level sending unit.

The parts are readily available from these many on-line sources, www.partsgeek.com, www.rockauto.com, www.discountautoparts.com, www.autopartswarehouse.com, www.jcwhitney.com - to list only a few possibilities.
In fact, they (RockAuto) list the fuel tank level sensor from around $22.00 for your vehicle. Dorman part # 911013 or equivalent.

No suction from short ram intake Lines?
My friends was going to feed seafoam into a vacuum line and he pulled off my short ram intake lines. He said that the car should have started to run rough but nothing happened and their was no suction from the lines? Should I be worried?

Depends on whether the vacuum hose or line is sourced from engine intake vacuum or not. Need more information - what exactly is the vacuum line routed to and from? What are the specific connection points?

Please reply with a more detailed description for further assistance.

I replied but apparently it didn't go through. The big hose is connected to the engine and when you cover it with your finger, little bit of air puffs out. The small hose goes into a cylinder looking thing below the crank case. The other side of this thing connects to a metal line. It's an 2.2 ecotech.

A bigger hose is on the engine and when you cover it for a little while, it puffs air out. The other is a little hose, Idk what the piece is called that it goes to. If you look up the engine, the piece is right below the crank case. It's has a cylinder Shape and connects to a metal hose. It's a 2.2l ecotech

Stop at a Chevrolet dealership and have the service department run your VIN through their computer. You do not need to make an appointment to do that. Just stop by.

If at a shop a part is ordered and installed and then the part doesnt work, who should pay for the additional labor?
blend door actuator part..... fully installed and then found not to work.... they had to take out and put in another? who should pay for the additional labor cost?

If you are saying that the first blend door actuator was a defective part that they supplied and after installing it did not work and then a second part was installed that did work, the shop cannot bill labor for the second time. hands down, no ambiguity here at all.

I agree with HouseCall. You should not pay the labor for the defective part. Secondly if your
mechanic is trying to make you pay, then it's time to find a new mechanic!

where it is located elChevy 1999-2004 Tracker, Fuel Filter
    Fuel Filter

The vehicle has an inline fuel filter located on the passenger (right hand) side of the vehicle. Just behind the wheel well on the underside of the vehicle next to the fuel tank is where you'll find the filter.

Be sure to use the fuel line fitting disconnect tools to remove the fuel line at the inlet and outlet sides of the filter. Also, be sure to first depressurize the fuel system first before removing the filter. Remove the fuel pump fuse, then crank the engine to relieve the line pressure.

In fact, they (RockAuto) list the fuel filter from around $3.80 for your vehicle

Why do I have a strong odor of gas inside the car after it has been started for a few minutes and when I'm driving?
Just bought this car off of previous owner. We test drove about 2 miles and back and barely smelled gas. We bought it, drove home and parked. Next day we went to town which is about 15 miles. About half way through the trip the gas odor was BAD. Checked the car for ...

Check the other fuel injectors and go ahead and replace these other injectors seals. Also, check the following items; fuel rail, fuel line to the engine, fuel filter and connections / fittings, fuel line from the fuel pump / fuel tank.

When you turn the key to "on" are the normal warning lamps that are supposed to illuminate doing so? Or you turn the key (which you said is stiff) and the instrument panel remains unchanged?

I would have the ABS codes checked. You can have them checked for free at any parts store like
AutoZone. Then let me know what you find.
