When I am in revers, and apply the break, the rear passenger corner seems to raise up a bit,.
It lowers when I release the breaks. Also, when it is raining or wet out, the first or second application of the breaks tends to clamp, as if i am slamming the breaks, even when I am lightly applying the pedal. I have a 2001 Chevy Cavolier, 2-door.

Check the brake pads see if glazed over? If so, take some sand paper and remove the glaze. Another possibility is a faulty half-shaft joint, that can make a grinding noise, most noticeable when turning slowly.

If there was a recall on the vehicle then you need to contact a Chevrolet dealer to determine your next course of action. Usually they provide a number to call to set up an appointment to deal with the recall(s). In your vehicle's case, it looks like there were 5 recalls in May 2014 alone so I would definitely talk to someone about getting it fixed.

      http://www.automd.com/recall-tsb/search/

The above link is for the vehicle you've provided for all of the recalls on that vehicle. If you click on any one of them it will tell you what is being recalled, what are some possible consequences, and what actions you will need to take.

Contact them right away considering the vehicle was already involved in some sort of accident. As long as your vehicle is a part of the batch listed in the recalls they will fix it free of charge.
