The possible causes of your vehicle’s problem are faulty a/c condenser, compressor and line/hose. If you want to inspect those component that I’ve mention just click this link http://www.automd.com/diagnose/problems and you will find a list of possible problems there and a continue to inspect icon, just click the icon and a step by step guide on how to inspect the component will appear. I would suggest that you take your vehicle to a service shop, because this fix is not advisable for a DIY, just click the find shops near the read how-to-guide to find a shop near you.

How do I reset the seat belts after an accident?
My wife ran off the edge of road and hit a sign on right front fender and door, causing the side curtain air bags to deploy and now the seat belts are inopperable. She is about 350 miles away and I am trying to help get back home to have repairs done. Thanks

I hope your wife is ok now, hmm sounds like the srs computer is still sending the crash signal to it. Check if the impact sensors were damaged, next remove the "-" terminal from the battery then wait several seconds and plug it back in, that should reset all the computers on the car including the srs.

There is water on the floor on the passenger side when I have the AC on. Just had an inspection prior to problem.
The dealership seems to find iron filings in a large percentage of the older models AC filter. My 2002 Trailblazer was fine until they suggested it wasn't. They replaced the filter and warned me to watch it. Now I have a small puddle of water on the passenger ...

about all gm trucks has that same problem. they either come on at any certain time to shutting off when they are on. it be cheaper to buy a whole replacement wiper motor which comes with the module for delay. or can shop around for just the module if u can take it apart yourself. then you wouldnt have to fool with the wiper arms and taking out the panel infront of the windshield. my wipers would come on for a couple of wipes after i turned on the key. then it just got worse months on down the road till i changed it.

there is a fuse in the fuse box. And on most vehicals there is a relay inside the door. If it is just one door it is the relay. if both doors it is probably the fuse.

You should inspect your heater core it may be faulty or the hose connection to the heater core is leaking.

•To have more idea about heater core and how to replace it check out this link http://www.automd.com/.../ you can also view there the estimated cost if you do-it-yourself or have it fixed in the a service shop and also the tools that are needed to do this job and a step by step guide if you want to fix it yourself

•But if the heater core is in good condition and the cause of the leaking is/are the heater core hose/s go to this link http://www.automd.com/.../

Thank you for responding... the car is my daughters car.... the leak is clear water....I thought at first it was the heater core.. Someone also said that it may me condensation from the a/c... there was blog from someone at another site that said their 2005 Chevy Cobalt did the same thing. They took it to the dealer and after 3 attempts, they finally repaired it... Apparently it is a defect in that make and model !! Missing was what part was necessary to repair.... any ideas ?? thx yboy82

Is it a seal on the door panel? There is a piece of plastic under your door panel, its purpose is to deflect the rain water that gets inside the door from leaking inside your vehicle. Water will spill inside if it is damaged. Or the windshield could be leaking.

Thanks guys........ this site is sooo cool..... can't tell you all how much I appreciate any responses..... since the drip under the dash is heavier when the a/c is on high, I tend to think that the problem just may be the HVAC evaporator drain tube could be clogged..... now if we can find someone to do it for us.... I have a better chance of winning the LOTTO than finding the HVAC DRAIN TUBE !!! Wish me luck.... again THANK YOU !!!!

UPDATE: There is a Technical Service Bulletin for this concern:

TSB # 05-01-38-016B 2005/2006 Cobalt, HHR & Pursuit built prior to VIN breakpoint 67661747.

      Parts req'd:
      1 ea GM 15878211, foam gsk't
      5 ea 11609829 screw

The service procedure involves separating the lower heater core cover from the HVAC case & installing a foam gsk't. The lower htr core cover is held in situ by 4 plastic welds, which must be broken to service.

You can click this link http://www.automd.com/shops/ and just enter your address with your ZIP code and just select your vehicle’s make then just click the search shops icon. please check and inspect the a/c hose on the passenger side, it might be loose or broken. there is a hose that serves as a passageway for excess water to exit from the cooling coil.

The left side power windows are controlled by the Driver Door Module (DDM). The right side windows are controlled by the Front Passenger Door Module (FPDM). The system relays are integral with the DDM & the FPDM and are non-serviceable. Both the DDM & the FPDM are on the class 2 data line and communicate directly with the Body Control Module (BCM). A code scan is called for.
