12/17/2012 JimmRandom misfires that jump around from one cylinder to another (read: P030x codes) also will set a P0300 code. The underlying cause is often a lean fuel condition, which may be due to a vacuum leak in the intake manifold or unmetered air getting past the airflow sensor, or an EGR valve that is stuck open.
Check for any air leaks around the intake.
The P0302 code targets the # 2 cylinder specifically - same issues to address.

12/14/2012 JimmCheck the bearing surfaces; piston / cylinder contact pattern, inspect the crankshaft bearing journals for excess scoring or damage. There are many possibilities or causes; faulty air filter, excess dirt, lack of engine oil or engine oil pressure - even momentarily - can ruin an engine in a spilt second.

12/10/2012 nomilav49Could be a dirty or otherwise sensor. Or it could be low on coolant in the radiator even if the recovery jug is full there could be an ail lock between the jug and radiator be sure the radiator is full.

12/5/2012 rickHow many miles are on this baby ? Could be a few things . Oil pump might be getting weak or motor just getting worn out . One simple thing to try is next oil change have a little thicker oil put in . If right now it has 5w-30w oil try putting 10w-40w in it . This will not fix worn out parts or worn out motor . It will just help make it run longer . Might run 5000 miles more might run 50,000 . But the thicker oil will bring the oil pressure up some to help for awhile . Good luck .
