6/13/2013 CVOThe Air Mix Mode Actuator Blend Door controls the direction of airflow. It selects which way air flows through the different ducts. If your climate control system has lost the ability to control which vents the air comes out of, the MDA has probably failed. Both the ATC and MTC systems use this device.
Cool on the driver side and hot on the pass side is almost always caused by a faulty pass side blend door actuator. If it were the reverse (cool on pass side and hot on driver side the cause is always that the system is low on refrigerant.)
The vehicle A/C system is low on refrigerant, check the low side port, it must have a pressure between 25-35 psi.

6/9/2013 JimmThe a/c compressor will engage when; the a/c system is filled with refrigerant, the compressor fuse, relays, wiring / connections and switch / controls are working correctly. If the a/c system is fully charged, then check these other items in the system - starting with the switch, the wiring / connections and fuses to the compressor.

6/3/2013 HouseCallAutoIf the sockets are still alive with battery voltage and the red lens is still good and it seems safe you can just change the bulbs. I have seen that happen and the main reason is someone installs a higher wattage bulb than what was called for because they look identical but throw off a lot more heat.

4/27/2013 JimmCheck the following washer system components; washer pump relay (swap with another one of the same size rating to see if the problem disappears), faulty washer switch, faulty washer pump wiring or connection to the washer motor, faulty washer pump.
Try the many on-line auto parts sources, such as; www.autopartswarehouse.com or www.rockauto.com for the replacement parts. For example, they (RockAuto) list the washer pump relay from around $98.00 (AC Delco part # D1756A) and the washer pump from around $16.60 (AC Delco part # 86710) for your vehicle.

3/28/2013 HouseCallAutoI believe the clicking is from one of the actuators in the heater / ac system, replace the actuator making the noise if you can pin it's location down. You will have to start poking around under the dash.

Running Boards Inop when doors open/closejsp - 2012 Cadillac Escalade - Body & Interior - 3/17/2013Got a call the other day asking why my mothers running boards are inop when doors are open. Unfortunately she lives in a different state. Told her to check the fuse first. Unfortunately im not there to diagnose it but any similiar problems?-
3/17/2013 CVOjsp. Mom car is still under the 3 years or 36,000 miles warranty bumper to bumper. Call the Cadillac Dealer for a warranty repair.

Rear deck lock does not lock when I lock the doors but it does clickqboyle - 2006 Cadillac Escalade - Body & Interior - 2/26/2013I do not see how the inside panel removes in order to get to the mechanism so need some help with what might be wrong and how to get to it for a repair. Any help is appreciated as i need to get it repaired in order to be able to lock the entire vehicle.

The mode actuator.

The driver air mix actuator.
The air inlet actuator.
The Mode Door Actuator controls the direction of airflow. It selects which way air flows through the different ducts. If your climate control system has lost the ability to control which vents the air comes out of, the MDA has probably failed. Both the ATC and MTC systems use this device.

You might have two problems, the mode actuator and the driver air mix actuator aren't working properly.
