When OBD Code Reader applied, it came uo as 940 which translated to high surge. Feel no physical problems except the light coming on.

This could be caused by a lot of different reasons, have Autozone plug in a scanner to check for any codes, it's free.

Why does my '96 Buick Century hesitate when i press on the gas?
My car starts and idles fine. It runs perfect for the first half mile or so(1-2min). After that when i press on the gas pedal the car boggs down until i press the pedal like 75% or more to the floor. then it revs up and goes really fast and sucks ALOT of gas. I ...

Plug in a code reader and see what fault codes are stored. This cannot be skipped. You can obtain a code reader for about $20 from amazon. Post the code numbers here. If there are no codes, state that you checked and found no codes present.

No codes were found when using code reader at parts store.

Codes can come and go at different times and if you do not have quick access to a code reader this will be more difficult to diagnose. Buy a code reader. I fully believe that a code will appear soon so check every day. Link to $18 code reader >> http://www.amazon.com/.../ref=sr_1_1

If you tell me after experiencing this problem for the next 2 weeks that you checked for codes like every other day like 4 times and no codes showed, then I will accept that as a "no codes" situation and I will then advise you accordingly after that.

With the responses I got from Facebook it seems that the throttle position switch is likely bad. Although it was somewhat unclear whether this could be an intermittent problem. I have already volt tested the tps with car on engine off only. Could the tps act up only while the engine is on for a bit?

The TPS would definitely set a code and if it were bad you would not miss it on a volt meter sweep. But go ahead and replace it if facebook said it was no good...

Would a recently replaced ECM (computer) be related to a fuse box needing replacement only 2 mos. after replacement?

Does anything happen when you turn the ignition key to the on position? Do the dashboard lights come on? Check the main relay inside the fuse box.

Need more detailed info here, fault code information, this info you may not have so you cannot answer. Also define what "not starting at all" means because it has different interpretations.

Why does car choke when first cranked.
When first starting in the morning (cold), it makes a choking noise and wants to die. It doesn't do it when warmed up.

Are there any codes stored in the ECU? Plug in a scanner and check that first. Could be a faulty sensor, giving incorrect readings.

Water leaking out of hose next to heater core
it is a elbow hose,it look like a over flow value

There are only two liquids that can come from there. Water condensation in a hot climate while the ac is on which is normal, or if the heater core were to leak you would see coolant come out of there. That would mean a bad heater core.

Replace the instrument cluster. There are several online sources that will repair yours after you ship it to them. Takjes a few days. Removing the cluster is not hard.

This may be an ECU communication problem and sometimes it can be fix by disconnecting the negative side of the battery and reconnecting after 5 minutes. Try it and see if it works.

Where is the fuel pump relay location
no power to fuel pump, no start

It is in the underhood relay / fuse panel. Small rectangular relay, same as others nearby most likely. Top of panel labels what relay is for what. You have to open the owners manual and index the fuse panel picture that shows all the fuses and relays.

I don't have the owner manual and somebody removed the panel label...so I'm not going anywhere with that. If you please can send me a pic or anything I can see to fallow I'll appreciated .thanks

It seems it does not have a fuel pump relay but uses a Fuel pressure Control Module which is probably no good but careful with my suggestion, it has to be diagnosed / confirmed.

Check your throttle body, there's a possibility that there is dirt and gum accumulation around the throttle plate, if that doesn't work check the Throttle Position Sensor, test the resistance, it should increase and decrease as you open and close the throttle plate. If there is an erratic resistance change, no change, or no resistance at all, replace the TPS.

Engine has intermittent bucking between 40 to 60 MPH
Bucking can happen any time but most pronounced between 40 to 60 MPH (1400 to 1900 RPM) mostly if I'm going up a hill but also with no hills, it has even happened when stopped for a light (this is very very seldom). This happens so fast and for such a short ...

You should own a good quality code reader and leave it hooked up to the diagnostic connector for a week or so. It don't take up much space. It may throw a code soon. Don't kill yourself tryin to find this ghost yet. The warmer weather is coming and this problem will surface soon. Get a code reader though, cause if you are going to try to get through this yourself without a repair shop intervention you absolutely must have a code reader, and if you can have one that reads all the data, that is all the better (they cost more). By the way, the SES light need not be illuminated for a code to be stored right now..

I'd be willing to spend more for a quality unit if it might get me closer to finding the problem and helping me resolve it. The dealer (Buick) is stumped and wants to start 'replacing parts' until the issue is resolved. $$$$
