Not replacing the timing belt would be costly! Keep the maintence up on it and it should serve you well.

The charcoal canister is saturated with gas, the tank fuel fumes couldn't vent into it and it will shut down the pump nozzle.

It is possible that the refrigerant could be low. Have an a/c technician check the both the high and low pressures. If it's low you may need refrigerant added. If the pressure is high you could have some type of blockage in the a/c system - such as a clogged or dirty a/c condensor (in front of the radiator).
