1997 Saturn SW2 Base 4Cyl1.9L - Transmissions & Drivetrains

My saturn will not shift in reverse when the car is warmed up. If the car is cold it works fine. What coud be wrong?

  IT could be a bad tranny. I am not experienced with transmissions so maybe there is some repair that could solve this I am not sure.

  I'm having a similar issue. When I shift into reverse, either the car will go forward then back, or shudders and makes a jarring feeling. Although probably unrelated, the steering wheel feels very loose. I was driving in snow today and took my hand off of the wheel for a second and spun out of control.
